<![CDATA[ ABSTRACTEducation is instrumental in creating qualified and potential human beings. Based on the results of observation teachers are still often using the lecture method, so that students are less motivated in following the teaching ang learning process. One learning model that can be used is the type of learning model make a match with domino strategy. This study aims to determine the effect of cooperative learning model type make a match with domino strategy to the achievement of learning history of class X SMA Negeri 1 Takengon. This research uses quantitativ approach with experimental research type. The population of this research is all student of X IPA SMA Negeri 1 Takengon. The sample in this research is the students of class X IPA 1 (experimental class) and students of class X IPA 3 (control class). Data colection is done by test. Data analysus techniques in this study using statistics with validity, reliability, normality, homogeneity, and t test. The result showed that the average of the students learning outcomes in the experimental class in higher than the control class (72:61). Results validity obtained a number of 21 items of questions declared valid. Test reliability using Cronbach’s Alpha value with the that is if rhitung rtabel and vice versa N: 37 or df: N-2= 35 : rtabel: 0.274, so 0.665 0.274, then categorize reliable moderate. Normality test based on the output with significance value of 0.150 0.05 so it can be concluded taht the data taken is normally distributed. Homogeneity test using ANOVA test with value 0.614 0.05, then the data taken is the same data in one variant. Based on the statistical test, it is stated that there is a difference of value betwenn theexperimental class and the control class, since the p-value = 0.00 0.05 is Ho, which means there is a significant difference betwenn the two classes.Keywords: Cooperative Learning, Cooperative Learning Model Type Make A Match, Domino Learning Stategy, Learning Achievement. ABSTRAKPendidikan sangat berperan dalam menciptakan manusia yang berkualitas dan berpotensi. Berdasarkan hasil observasi guru masih sering menggunakan metode ceramah, sehingga siswa kurang termotivasi dalam mengikuti kegiatan proses belajar mengajar. Salah satu model pembelajaran yang dapat digunakan yaitu model pembelajaran tipe make a match dengan strategi domino. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe make a match dengan strategi domino terhadap prestasi belajar sejarah siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Takengon. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian eksperimen. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa X IPA SMA Negeri 1 Takengon. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X IPA 1 (kelas eksperimen) dansiswa kelas X IPA 3 (kelaskontrol).Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan tes. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan statistik dengan uji validitas, reliabilitas, normalitas, homogenitas, dan uji t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata hasil belajar siswa pada kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dari pada kelas kontrol (72:61). Hasil validitas diperoleh sejumlah 21 butir pertanyaan yang dinyatakan valid. Uji reliabilitas menggunakan nilai Cronbach’s Alpha dengan pengujian yaitu jika rhitung rtabel dan sebaliknya N: 37 atau df: N-2 = 35: rtabel: 0.274, jadi 0.665 0.274, maka dapat kategorikan reliabel moderat. Uji normalitas berdasarkan hasil output dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,150 0,05 sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa data yang diambil berdistribusi normal.Uji homogenitas menggunakan tes ANOVA dengan nilai 0.614 0,05, makadata yang diambil adalah data yang sama dalam satu varian.
