PENERAPAN TERAPI NEBULIZER UNTUK MENGATASI POLA NAFAS TIDAK EFEKTIF PADA PASIEN PENYAKIT PARU OBSTRUKTIF KRONIK (PPOK)

Abstract Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) is a persistent blockage of the airways caused by emphysema and chronic bronchitis. One of the symptoms that appear in COPD is an ineffective breathing pattern. Ineffective breathing pattern is inspiration and/or expiration that does not provide adequate ventilation in the form of oxygen saturation and respiration. Nebulizer therapy is a tool used to change drugs from liquid form to aerosol particle form, this form of aerosol is very useful when inhaled or collected in the lungs, the nebulizer produces aerosols with a strong gas stream produced by the compressor. This therapy is very effective for dealing with ineffective breathing patterns because this breathing apparatus can turn medicine into vapor. The purpose of this study was to describe the application of nebulizer therapy to overcome ineffective breathing patterns in COPD patients based on a literature review. The type of research used was a literature review study design using pre- and quasy-experimental research with the keywords Nebulizer, Ineffective Breathing Pattern, COPD. The results of the five journals show that after nebulizer therapy to overcome ineffective breathing patterns in COPD patients, there is a decrease in respiratory rate or SpO2 in COPD patients. Abstrak Penyakit Paru Obstruktif Kronik (PPOK) merupakan suatu penyumbatan menetap pada saluran pernafasan yang disebabkan oleh emfisema dan bronkitis kronis. Gejala yang muncul pada penyakit PPOK salah satunya seperti pola napas tidak efektif. Pola nafas tidak efektif adalah inspirasi dan atau ekspirasi yang tidak memberikan ventilasi adekuat berupa saturasi oksigen dan respirasi. Terapi Nebulizer adalah alat yang digunakan untuk merubah obat dari bentuk cair ke bentuk partikel aerosol, bentuk aerosol ini sangat bermanfaat apabila dihirup atau dikumpulkan dalam organ paru, nebulizer menghasilkan aerosol dengan aliran gas kuat yang dihasilkan oleh kompresor. Terapi ini sangat efektif untuk mengatasi pola napas tidak efektif dikarenakan alat bantu pernafasan ini dapat mengubah obat menjadi uap. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menggambarkan penerapan terapi nebulizer untuk mengatasi pola nafas tidak efektif pada pasien PPOK berdasarkan literature review. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu desain studi literature review dengan menggunakan penelitian pra dan quasy eksperiment dengan kata kunci Nebulizer, Pola Nafas Tidak Efektif, PPOK. Hasil kelima jurnal menunjukkan bahwa setelah dilakukannya terapi nebulizer untuk mengatasi pola nafas tidak efektif pada pasien PPOK terdapat penurunan respiratory rate atau SpO2 pada pasien PPOK.
