Abstract

Sungai Brantas Daerah Urban Ruas Jembatan Saxophone Hingga Dam Kadalpang dengan parameter Nitrat dan Fosfat dapat dikatakan baik seacara fisik namun secara kualitas buruk dikarenakan berubahnya tata guna lahan dan peningkatan penduduk pada tiap tahunnya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kondisi eksisting dan status mutu kualitas air berdasarkan metode WQI untuk Tata Guna Lahan daerah urban. Hasil identifikasi data eksisting menunjukkan bahwa berdasarkan data Dinas Lingkungan Hidup pada titik 1 maupun titik 2 sebanyak 2 periode melebihi sebanyak 50% baku mutu air kelas 2, berdasarkan data Laboratorium Perum Jasa Tirta 1 titik 1 maupun titik 2 tepat 50% melebihi baku mutu air kelas II, sedangkan pada data pengambilan sample mandiri pada titik 1 maupun titik 2 sebanyak 66,67% berada diatas baku mutu air kelas II. Kemudian hasil penentuan index kualitas air dan juga status mutu air menggunakan metode WQI menunjukkan berdasarkan data Dinas Lingkungan Hidup pada titik 1 dan titik 2 sebanyak 60% tercemar dan 40% tidak tercemar, berdasarkan data Laboratorium Perum Jasa Tirta 1 kedua titik tercemar berat, dan berdasarkan data pengambilan sampel mandiri kedua titik tercemar berat dengan keterangan kotor. As an urban area, Brantas river Saxophone Bridge to Kadalpang Dam section of Malang City have a potency in decreasing water quality as the result of increasing population and changing in land use. Aims of this study to identify the existing condition and determine the water quality status using Water Quality Index (WQI). The results of identification of existing based on data from the Dinas Lingkungan Hidup at point 1 and point 2 for 2 periods it exceeds 50% of the class 2 water quality standard, based on data from the Perum Jasa Tirta Laboratory 1 point 1 and point 2 exactly 50% exceeds the class 2 water quality standard, in the independent sampling data at point 1 and point 2 as much as 66.67% are above class II water quality standards. Then the results of determining the water quality status using the WQI show that based on data from the Dinas Lingkungan Hidup at point 1 and point 2 60% is polluted and 40% is not polluted, based on Perum Jasa Tirta Laboratory 1 data both points are heavily polluted, and based on the independent sampling data of the two points is heavily polluted with dirty information
