PERBEDAAN PENERAPAN MODEL PROBLEM SOLVING BERBANTUAN PAPAN PETUALANGAN TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN PEMECAHAN MASALAH

Abstract

Problem solving is one of the abilities that must be mastered by elementary school students, especially regarding learning to count. So the authors apply the problem solving learning model using adventure board media to determine the influence in dealing with this problem solving ability. This research uses quantitative methods. This type of research is an experiment with a nonequivalent control group design. The population in this study were students of VA and VB grades at SDN Ungaran 01. Data analysis techniques used the normality test, homogeneity test, and independent sample t test. The results showed that there were differences in the application of problem solving learning models to problem solving abilities using adventure board media in mathematics learning for fifth grade students. This was proven by the significance level which showed a sig count value of 0.002 <0.05. So it can be concluded that the problem solving learning model using adventure board media can provide changes in improving students' problem solving abilities.Pemecahan masalah merupakan salah satu kemampuan yang harus dikuasai siswa sekolah dasar, khususnya mengenai pembelajaran berhitung. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh dalam menangani kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen dengan bentuk ¬nonequivalent control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VA dan VB SDN Ungaran 01. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji independent sample t test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan dalam penerapan model pembelajaran problem solving terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah menggunakan media papan petualangan pada pembelajaran matematis siswa kelas V. Hal ini terbukti dengan taraf signifikasi yang menunjukkan nilai sig hitung 0,002 < 0,05. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran problem solving menggunakan media papan petualangan dapat memberikan perubahan peningkatan pada kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa.
