Abstract

Bullying is long-term physical and psychological violence perpetrated by an individual or group against someone who is unable to defend themselves. This behavior may become habitual and involve social or physical imbalance. In society, we see that bullying in schools still occurs from time to time. Bullying should not be taken lightly. The most dangerous impact of bullying is that it can cause a person to have suicidal thoughts. Therefore, protection through legislation is needed to reduce the crime of bullying in Indonesia. Child bullying occurs when a person or group of strong students engage in repeated aggressive behavior towards another weaker child with the intention of harming that person. The frequent incidents of bullying in the education sector in Indonesia are increasingly alarming.
