Abstract

Abstract This study provides an explanation of how the information literacy of KPPS officers in Padang Pariaman Regency regarding their rights as workers and the fulfillment of these rights while carrying out their duties and responsibilities through a descriptive qualitative method. The analysis uses the standard information literacy model of the International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA) through 3 (three) basic components, namely access, evaluation and use. The results showed that in identifying information needs, KPPS officers did not have the ability, whereas in searching for the information needed, KPPS officers had the ability but did not do it optimally. Abstrak Penelitian ini memberi penjelasan bagaimana literasi informasi petugas KPPS di Kabupaten Padang Pariaman terhadap hak-haknya sebagai pekerja dan keterpenuhan hak-hak tersebut selama melaksanakan tugas dan tanggungjawabnya melalui metode kualitatif deskriptif. Analisa menggunakan model standar literasi informasi International Federation of Library Assosiations and Institution (IFLA) melalui 3 (tiga) komponen dasarnya, yakni access, evaluation dan use. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan dalam mengidentifikasi kebutuhan informasi petugas KPPS tidak memiliki kemampuan, sedangkan dalam melakukan penelusuran informasi yang dibutuhkan, petugas KPPS memiliki kemampuan namun tidak dilakukan secara optimal.
