<![CDATA[Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh model pembelajaran POGIL terhadap kemampuan literasi sains siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA di SMPN 20 Kota Bengkulu.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat kemampuan literasi sains siswa dengan model pembelajaran POGIL pada mata pelajaran IPA di SMPN 20 Kota Bengkulu. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen semu (Quasi-Experimental).Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini adalah observasi, tes, dan dokumentas.Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data adalah tes.Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji normalitas dengan uji chi kuadrat, uji homogenitas dengan uji F dan uji hipotesis dengan uji independent sample T test. Hasil penelitian adalahdari uji hipotesis pre test, nilai thitung (2,866) > ttabel (2,00172) dengan taraf signifikansi 5% H1 diterima dan H0 ditolak dengan hasil rata – rata pre test pada kelompok eksperimen sebesar 48 dan rata-rata pada kelompok kontrol sebesar 39. Kemudian berdasarkan hasil dari uji hipotesis post test, nilai thitung (3,118) > ttabel (2,00172) dengan taraf signifikansi 5% adanya penolakan ????0 dan penerimaan ????1 Artinya terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan kemampuan literasi sains antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol setelah diberikan perlakuan dengan hasil rata – rata pre test pada kelompok eksperimen sebesar 81,3 dan rata-rata pada kelompok kontrol sebesar 60,4. This research was motivated by the POGIL learning model on students' science literacy skills in science subjects at SMPN 20 Kota Bengkulu. This study aims to see students' science literacy skills with the POGIL learning model in science subjects at SMPN 20 Kota Bengkulu. The type of research used is quantitative research with pseudo-experimental methods (Quasi-Experimental). Data collection techniques in this study are observation, tests, and documents. The instrumen used to collect data is a test. The data analysis techniques used are normality test with chi squared test, homogeneity test with F test and hypothesis test with T test.The results of the study were from the pre test hypothesis test, the calculated value (2.866) > ttable (2.00172) with a significance level of 5% H1 was accepted and H0 was rejected with the average pre test results in the experimental group of 48 and the average in the control group of 39.Then based on the results of the post test hypothesis test, the calculated value (3.118) > ttable (2.00172) with a significance level of 5% rejection of H0 and acceptance of H1 This means that there is a significant difference in science literacy ability between the experimental class and the control class after treatment with the average pre test results in the experimental group of 81,3 and the average in the control group of 60.4.]]>
