Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan pengaruh media pembelajaran kotak ilmu materi bagian-bagian tumbuhan terhadap hasil belajar kognitif siswa kelas VIII di SMPN 12 Kota Bengkulu Dalam penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode quasy eksperimen untuk mengetahui pengaruh media pembelajaran kotak ilmu terhadap hasil belajar kognitif peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan instrument tes yang dilangsungkan dalam pembelajaran. Adapun hasil penelitian dengan judul “Pengaruh Media Pembelajaran Kotak Ilmu Materi Bagian-Bagian Tumbuhan Terhadap Hasil Belajar Kognitif Siswa Kelas VIII Di SMPN 12 Kota Bengkulu” bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap media pembelajaran kotak ilmu materi bagian-bagian tumbuhan terhadap hasil belajar kognitif siswa kelas VIII di SMPN 1 Kota Bengkulu. Dengan rata-rata nilai kelas kontrol (pretest ) 65 menjadi (Post-test ) 76 sedangkan kelas ekperimen nilai pretest 74 menjadi Post-test 82.

Abstract

Abstrac Ulcer disease is a problem often experienced by students because of several factors that influence it. This research aims to determine the effect of drinking (alcohol, caffeine and soda) on ulcer disease among UINFAS Bengkulu students. The method used is a quantitative method where we use prerequisite tests, namely the normality test, linearity test and simple linear regression test with data collection techniques through questionnaire questions using Google Form which are distributed to students at UIN Fatmawati Sukarno Bengkulu which consists of 4 faculties, namely: FTT, FEBI, FUAD and Sharia. The sample used was 40 students. The questions used consisted of 20 questions consisting of 3 categories, namely: (Student knowledge, causal factors and healthy lifestyles against stomach ulcers). The results obtained from the data show that students are of the same size. In conclusion, the influence of drinking (alcohol, caffeine and soda) has a significant influence of 47% on the ulcer disease of UINFAS Bengkulu students. In order to reduce the risk of developing stomach ulcers in students, it is important to increase awareness of the negative impacts of consuming alcohol, caffeine and soda. Students need to be informed about healthier drink alternatives and encourage a balanced lifestyle. In addition, further research needs to be carried out to explore the relationship between consumption of these drinks and stomach ulcers and explore other factors that may influence the risk of stomach ulcers in the student population. Abstract

Pembelajaran IPA di tingkat SMP masih menghadapi tantangan dalam mengoptimalkan kemampuan kolaborasi siswa serta memanfaatkan potensi lingkungan sekitar sebagai sumber belajar yang kontekstual. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan modul pembelajaran berbasis Project Based Learning (PjBL) pada materi bioteknologi melalui pemanfaatan limbah pelepah sawit menjadi pupuk kompos di SMP Negeri 19 Seluma . Metode yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE yang meliputi tahap analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas IX. Instrumen penelitian meliputi lembar validasi ahli, lembar observasi, angket respon siswa, dan rubrik penilaian kemampuan kolaborasi. Hasil validasi menunjukkan bahwa modul berada pada kategori sangat layak, dengan persentase penilaian ahli materi sebesar 93,33%, ahli bahasa 88,15%, dan ahli media 86,30%. Implementasi modul menunjukkan kemampuan kolaborasi siswa berada pada kategori tinggi, dengan persentase skor rubrik kelompok 1 sebesar 72,31% dan kelompok 2 sebesar 87,69%. Selain itu, hasil angket respon siswa memperoleh persentase rata-rata sebesar 82,38% dengan kategori baik. Berdasarkan temuan tersebut, modul yang dikembangkan dinyatakan layak dan efektif digunakan sebagai alternatif sumber belajar IPA.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan modul pembelajaran IPA berbasis hands-on learning untuk meningkatkan literasi sains siswa kelas IX pada materi siklus karbon di SMP Negeri 5 Kota Bengkulu. Metode yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE. Modul dirancang agar siswa aktif melalui eksperimen, observasi, dan diskusi. Hasil validasi menunjukkan modul sangat layak, efektif, dan praktis digunakan. Uji coba kelompok kecil menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman siswa dengan rata-rata 80,46%, mayoritas di atas 70%. Modul juga mendapat respons positif dari guru dan siswa karena mudah digunakan. Pada uji coba kelompok besar, 85,53% siswa menilai modul sangat praktis dan menarik, serta membantu dalam memahami materi. Analisis statistik menunjukkan adanya perbedaan signifikan antara kelas eksperimen dan kontrol, dengan nilai kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi. Modul ini direkomendasikan untuk pembelajaran IPA guna meningkatkan pemahaman konsep dan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa.

Abstract

Science education at the elementary level has an important role in forming students' understanding of natural phenomena and basic concepts, one of which is changes in the state of objects which include the processes of melting, freezing, evaporation and condensation. This research aims to explore the effectiveness of using image media in smart board games as a learning aid to teach students changes in the shape of objects. This research was carried out at Smp IT Khairunnas, Bengkulu City, involving 30 class 7A students. The method used is descriptive qualitative with observation techniques and data collection through questionnaires distributed online. The research results show that using a smart board with image media can increase students' understanding of changes in the form of objects, as well as increase their involvement and interest in learning. This research concludes that smart board media is effective in strengthening students' understanding of the concept of changes in the form of objects and increasing a fun and interactive learning experience

Abstract

Science learning in schools is still dominated by the use of textbooks and lecture methods, so students’ involvement in the learning process is not yet optimal. This condition affects students’ conceptual understanding, especially in acid–base material which is abstract in nature. This study aimed to develop and analyze the quality of a science module based on the Learning Cycle 5E on the topic of food acids and bases in terms of design, feasibility, practicality, and effectiveness. This research used a Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model consisting of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. The research subjects were ninth-grade students of SMP IT Khairunnas Bengkulu City. The research instruments included expert validation sheets, teacher and student response questionnaires, and learning outcome tests in the form of pretest and posttest. The data were analyzed using quantitative descriptive analysis and statistical tests with the help of SPSS. The results showed that the module was systematically arranged according to the stages of Engage, Explore, Explain, Elaborate, and Evaluate. The validation results indicated that the module was categorized as very feasible in the material aspect (82.08%) and language aspect (82.59%), and feasible in the media aspect (80.78%). The practicality of the module was shown through the teacher response of 100% and student responses in small and large group trials of 86.97% and 88.62%, respectively, both categorized as very good. The effectiveness of the module was indicated by an increase in the students’ average score from 69.90 in the pretest to 92.37 in the posttest with a significant difference. In addition, the N-Gain analysis result of 0.75, which falls into the high category, indicates a substantial improvement in learning outcomes after using the module. Therefore, the Learning Cycle 5E–based module is considered feasible, practical, and effective in improving students’ learning outcomes on the topic of food acids and bases.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of adaptive reading learning strategies for slow learner students and identify supporting and inhibiting factors in their implementation at Alam Mahira Elementary School in Bengkulu City. This study used a qualitative approach with a descriptive research type. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation, while data analysis used the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of adaptive reading learning strategies is carried out through individual mentoring, the use of visual media, repetition of material, simplification of material delivery, providing flexible learning time, and providing motivation and positive reinforcement according to the characteristics of slow learner students. Supporting factors in the implementation of this strategy include teacher commitment, the availability of learning media, an inclusive school environment, and collaboration between teachers, schools, and parents. Inhibiting factors include differences in reading ability among students, low student concentration and self-confidence, limited time for teachers to provide individual mentoring, and less than optimal parental involvement in accompanying learning activities at home. Thus, the implementation of adaptive reading learning strategies can support the improvement of slow learner students' reading abilities while realizing a more inclusive, effective, and appropriate learning process for students' needs.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the effect of using scrapbook media on students’ conceptual understanding of the cell system at MA Qur’an Harsallakum. The research employed a quantitative approach with a one-group pretest–posttest design. The participants consisted of 18 students from class X A. The instrument used was a multiple-choice test oriented toward conceptual understanding (C2–C4), which had been validated for content by three experts and tested for reliability using Cronbach’s Alpha. Data analysis included the Shapiro–Wilk normality test, paired t-test, effect size calculation using Cohen’s d, and normalized gain (N-gain). The results showed an increase in the mean score from 28.33 in the pretest to 29.44 in the posttest. The paired t-test yielded a p value < 0.05, indicating a significant difference before and after the use of scrapbook media. However, the N-gain value of 0.006 and Cohen’s d = 0.08 indicated that the improvement was classified as low with a small effect size. Scrapbook media supports concept visualization, but more optimal instructional time is required.
