<![CDATA[With the implementation of regional government autonomy in 1999/2000, which had a major impact on education. In that context, education policies can also be implemented, one of which is the Implementation of School-Based Management (SBM), which can be carried out by all school members who are required to be more creative and innovative to improve the quality of education. Because School Based Management (SBM) is a strategy for advancing education by transferring, important decisions give authority from the state and local government to individual school administrators. Therefore, the aim of this research is to determine the implementation of School Based Management (MBS) at SD Muhammadiyah 1 Morotai Island. This research use desciptive qualitative approach. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and documentation methods. The results of this research show that there has been an improvement related to the Implementation of School Based Management (MBS) at SD Muhammadiyah 1 Morotai Island which includes curriculum and teaching management, educational staff, school relations with the community, as well as special services that have run according to what was expected, namely being able to improve the implementation of better School-Based Management at SD Muhammdiyah 1 Morotai Island.]]>
