Abstract

Abstract — The onion drying technology in controlled drying houses is one of the drying methods that can be utilized by farmers. Ideal air humidity range in hybrid drying rooms for red onions, 41% -52%. Then in this final project will be discussed the system of controlling air humidity in the hybrid drying room. Control system that uses a P controller, using the arduino mega 2560, to capture air humidity using a DHT 22 sensor, to make fast and slow rotation of exhaust fan used pwm dimmers which serves to increase and decrease the valtage so that we can carry out the functions of the system. The results of this study indicate that the air humidity control system in the hybrid drying room can be maintained in its ideal conditions. Keywords — Arduino Mega 2560; Controlling Air Humidity; Controller P;  DHT22;  hybrid drying room. Abstrak — Teknologi pengeringan bawang merah dalam rumah pengering terkontrol salah satu metode pengeringan yang dapat di manfaatkan petani. kelembaban udara ideal pada ruang pengering hibrida bawang merah berkisar 41%-52%. pada tugas akhir ini akan di bahas sistem pengendalian kelembaban udara pada ruang pengering hibrida. Sistem pengendalian pengontrol P menggunakan microcontroller arduino mega 2560. Untuk mendeteksi kelembaban udara digunakan sensor DHT22. Sedangkan, untuk membuat cepat dan pelannya putaran exhaust fan digunakan dimmer pwm yang berfungsi untuk menaikkan dan menurunkan tegangan sehingga kita dapat menjalankan fungsi dari sistem. Penelitian ini menunjukkan sistem pengendalian kelembaban udara dalam ruang pengering hibrida terjaga pada kondisi idealnya. Kata kunci — Arduino Mega 2560; DHT 22; Pengendalian Kelembaban Udara; Pengontrol P; Ruang Pengering Hibrida.
