<![CDATA[This research aims to determine the effect of using syllable bridge media (JASUKA) on the beginning reading ability of class I students at SDN 73 Reatoa, Mallawa District, Maros Regency. The type of research used is experimentation with a method in the form of Pre-Experimental Design which uses the form of a one group pretest-posttest design. The data source in this research was 15 class I students at SDN 73 Reatoa, Mallawa District, Maros Regency. Data collection was carried out using observation sheets, tests and documentation. The results of the pretest data research or before using the syllable bridge media (JASUKA), namely the average score was 61.13. Meanwhile, the average posttest score after using the syllable bridge media (JASUKA) was 82.13, which is considered high. After analyzing the inferential statistics, it was obtained that tCount was 41.470 and tTable 2, 14479, so it was obtained that tCount > tTable or 41.470 > 2.14479. Based on the results of tCount and tTable, it can be concluded that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, this means that the use of syllable bridge media (JASUKA) influences the beginning reading ability of class I students at SDN 73 Reatoa, Mallawa District, Maros Regency.]]>
