Abstract

Abstract: The Use of Appositive Endocentric Phrases in News Discourse Essays. This study aimed to describe the forms of the use of apositive endocentric phrases in news essay discourse at SMP Negeri 3 Mare Class VIII.B. This research used descriptive qualitative analysis techniques. This technique led to research that was used based on existing facts by describing and analyzing data qualitatively. Data from this study were obtained from news essay discourse in SMP Negeri 3 Mare Class VIII.B. The data that had been collected was given a code and text serial number along with paragraph number sequence. The object in this study was a student worksheet in the form of student essays. The data collection technique in this research was the documentation technique. The data collection phase includes: collecting student essays, reading one at a time and underlining the apositive endocentric phrases found in the news discourse. The data analysis phase includes: discussing one by one analyzing the data that has been studied, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicated that the form of apositive endocentric phrases that were used in news essays on students of SMP Negeri 3 Mare class VIII.B were subject positions in the form of nouns in the name category, there were also prepositional phrases marked with prepositions as clues such as 'in' , 'to', 'from' and 'to'.Keywords: Apositive endocentric phrases, News essay discourse.

Abstract

The main problem in this study is whether there is an effect of verbal motivation on students' listening skills, this study aims to. The Influence of Motivation on Listening Skills for Fifth Grade Students at State Elementary School No, 59 Panyangkalang, Takalar Regency. The type of research used by the researcher is experimental, using a pre-experimental research design with the type of one group pretest posttest. Data were collected using a questionnaire and also a test. The results of the normality test showed that the pretest significant value > 0.05 or 0.000 > 0.05 and the posttest significant value > 0.05 or 0.174 > 0.05. Where the significant value is greater than 0.05, the research data is declared to be normally distributed. The homogeneity test using showed that the significant value was > or 0.014 > 0.05. The data is declared homogeneous, the value is significantly greater than the standard level (α ). Hypothesis testing shows the value of tcount > ttable or 5.834 > 2.22814. If tcount is greater than t table, then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted so that it can be concluded that Learning Motivation Treatment has an influence on the Listening Skills of fifth grade students at SD Negeri No. 59 Panyangkalang, Takalar Regency. The results of listening skills before being taught using the Motivation Treatment level of mastery in the medium and high categories, after using the Learning Motivation Treatment reached the high and very high categories. So it can be concluded that Learning Motivation Treatment can be used to improve students' listening skills.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji kemampuan literasi siswa kelas III B di SD Negeri Mannuruki. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan oleh peneliti yaitu penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan desktriptif, yang artinya penelitian yang digunakan untuk menyajikan, mendeskripsikan gambaran secara mendetail mengenai kemampuan literasi siswa kelas rendah di sekolah tersebut. Populasi dan sampel penelitian ini yaitu seluruh siswa kelas III B SD Negeri Mannuruki yang berjumlah 29 orang. Pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, tes, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil kemampuan literasi siswa di kelas III B berada pada kategori rendah. Ada beberapa faktor yang menyebabkan diantaranya yaitu kecanduan bermain gadget (kemajuan teknologi), faktor sifat malas siswa (siswa yang terbata-bata dan malas dalam membaca), belum mengenal huruf serta kesusahan dalam menulis kalimat.

Abstract

Peran dan fungsi guru memiliki hubungan yang erat dan tidak dapat dipisahkan. Guru memiliki tanggung jawab dalam menyatukan peran dan fungsi tersebut, termasuk kemampuan dalam mendidik, membimbing, mengajar, dan melatih. Salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi proses kegiatan belajar mengajar adalah siswa. Siswa memiliki kemampuan yang berbeda-beda dalam menerima materi yang disampaikan guru. Hal ini berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan siswa dalam menulis. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif, karena dalam penelitian ini berusaha mengungkapkan atau mendeskripsikan keadaan objek yang diteliti melalui data populasi, kemudian dianalisis dan ditarik kesimpulan yang dapat berlaku secara umum. Guru Kelas IIB SD Mannuruki mengatakan bahwa terdapat peserta didik yang mengalami kesulitan menulis, yaitu 2 peserta didik. Guru berusaha mengatasi kesulitan menulis yang dialami peserta didik dengan cara menambah jam belajar sebelum masuk jam pelajaran atau sesudah pulang sekolah. Peserta didik juga lebih antusias mengikuti dan memahami materi pembelajaran apabila selama proses pembelajaran guru menerapkan strategi-strategi yang mampu menarik perhatian dan memotivasi peserta didik dalam belajar. Keterampilan menulis memiliki peran yang sangat penting dalam prestasi hasil belajar siswa, serta dalam kelancaran proses pembelajaran di kelas. Oleh karena itu, peran guru dalam mengatasi kesulitan menulis yang dialami siswa dianggap sangat penting. Selain itu, keberhasilan peserta didik juga melibatkan peran penting dari guru, orang tua, dan masyarakat.

Abstract

This type of research is classroom action research (classroom action research) which consists of two cycles where each cycle is held in two meetings. Research procedures include planning, implementation of action, observation and reflection. The subjects in this study were grade 2 students at SDN No. 146 Inpres Bontokanang Takalar Regency as many as 35 people. The research data is the teacher's assessment and student assessment in assessing storytelling skills in the learning process and learning outcomes. The data sources for this study were class teachers and 2nd grade students at SDN No. 146 Presidential Instruction of Bontokanang, Takalar Regency, totaling 35 people. The techniques used to collect data are: interviews, observation and documentation. Research process data were analyzed using qualitative descriptive techniques while learning outcome data were analyzed using quantitative descriptive techniques. The results showed that in the first cycle, out of 35 individuals, only 4 students or 11.42% met the minimum completeness criteria (KKM) or were in the very low category. Classically it has not been fulfilled because the average value is 89.62%. Whereas in cycle II where out of 35 students there were 31 people or 88.57% or were in the very high category they had fulfilled the KKM and classically had been fulfilled. Based on the results of the research above, it can be concluded that the learning outcomes of grade 2 students at SDN No. 146 Inpres Bontokanang Takalar Regency through exploding box learning media has increased.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menyoroti rendahnya keterampilan menyimak cerita dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia, khususnya pada murid kelas V di SD Inpres Lambengi Kabupaten Gowa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memahami proses dan hasil dari peningkatan keterampilan menyimak cerita melalui penerapan model pembelajaran cooperative script. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang terdiri dari dua siklus, dengan masing-masing siklus dilaksanakan dalam empat pertemuan. Fokus penelitian mencakup keterampilan menyimak cerita dan penggunaan model cooperative script di kelas V SD Inpres Lambengi Kabupaten Gowa. Proses penelitian melibatkan perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 20 murid kelas V. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis menggunakan metode kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan aktivitas belajar murid dari siklus I ke siklus II. Hasil belajar murid juga meningkat, dengan rata-rata skor meningkat dari 61 pada siklus I menjadi 92 pada siklus II. Ketuntasan belajar menyimak cerita juga mengalami peningkatan, dengan 97% murid mencapai ketuntasan belajar pada siklus II, dibandingkan dengan hanya 32% pada siklus I. Ketuntasan belajar secara klasikal juga tercapai. Dari hasil penelitian ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa keterampilan menyimak cerita murid kelas V SD Inpres Lambengi Kabupaten Gowa mengalami peningkatan melalui penerapan model pembelajaran cooperative script.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara melalui media audiovisual YouTube pada murid kelas III di SDN No 36 Tonasa, Parappa, Kabupaten Takalar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas dengan dua siklus, masing-masing siklus terdiri dari empat pertemuan. Penelitian dilaksanakan di kelas III SDN No 36 Tonasa, Parappa, Kabupaten Takalar, pada semester genap tahun pelajaran 2022/2023. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 25 murid kelas III, dengan 13 laki-laki dan 12 perempuan. Prosedur penelitian meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, tes, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis secara kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata keterampilan berbicara murid pada siklus pertama adalah 62, sedangkan pada siklus kedua meningkat menjadi 94. Tingkat ketuntasan keterampilan berbicara juga mengalami peningkatan, di mana pada siklus I hanya 10 murid (40%) yang mencapai ketuntasan belajar, sedangkan pada siklus II, sebanyak 24 murid (96%) mencapai ketuntasan belajar dan ketuntasan belajar klasikal tercapai. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan media audiovisual YouTube berhasil meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara murid kelas III di SDN No 36 Tonasa, Parappa, Kabupaten Takalar.

Abstract

This research is an experimental researchQuasi Experimental Design which aims to determine the effect of a practicum-based guidehyper content on the scientific literacy skills of class XI IPA students at SMA Negeri 2 Gowa on the material structure and function of plant tissue with a research design "Nonequivalent Control Group Design”. The population in this study was class XI IPA SMA Negeri 2 Gowa which consisted of six classes with a total of 151 students. The sample of this study consisted of two classes, namely class XI IPA 1 as an experimental class of 25 students and class XI IPA 2 as a control class of 25 students who were randomly selected.Simple Random Sampling. The research variables consist of independent variables, namely practicum-based guideshyper content while the dependent variable is scientific literacy ability. Data collection is done through givingpretest andposttest. Data were analyzed with descriptive statistics and inferential statistics with the help ofSPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solutions) versi 25. The results showed that the average value of the resultsposttest the experimental class is 71.33 and the control class is 54.73. In the hypothesis test throughIndependent Sample T- Test with a value of p = 0.000 a = 0.05, it can be concluded that there is an influence of practicum-based guidancehyper content on students' scientific literacy skills on the material structure and function of plant tissue in class XI IPA SMA Negeri 2 Gowa.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen Quasi Experimental Design yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penuntun praktikum berbasis hyper content terhadap kemampuan literasi sains siswa kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 2 Gowa pada materi struktur dan fungsi jaringan tumbuhan dengan desain penelitian “Nonequivalent Control Group Design”. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 2 Gowa yang terdiri dari enam kelas dengan jumlah total 151 siswa. Sampel penelitian ini sebanyak dua kelas yaitu kelas XI IPA 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen sebanyak 25 siswa dan kelas XI IPA 2 sebagai kelas kontrol sebanyak 25 siswa yang dipilih secara Simple Random Sampling. Variabel penelitian terdiri dari variabel bebas yaitu penuntun praktikum berbasis hyper content sedangkan variabel terikat yaitu kemampuan literasi sains. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui pemberian pretest dan posttest. Data dianalisis dengan statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial dengan bantuan SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solutions) versi 25. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada nilai rata-rata hasil posttest kelas eksperimen 71,33 dan kelas kontrol yaitu 54,73. Pada uji hipotesis melalui Independent Sample T- Test dengan nilai p = 0,000 a = 0,05 dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan ada pengaruh penuntun praktikum berbasis hyper content terhadap kemampuan literasi sains siswa pada materi struktur dan fungsi jaringan tumbuhan siswa kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 2 Gowa..

Abstract

The main problem in this research is how to apply the sociocognitive learning model to improve the learning outcomes of writing descriptive text for class IVA students at SD Inpres Minasa Upa. This research aims to describe the application of a sociocognitive learning model assisted by interactive multimedia in improving the learning outcomes of writing descriptive text for class IVA students at SD Inpres Minasa Upa. This type of research is class action research (Class Action Research) which consists of two cycles where each cycle is carried out in three meetings including a cycle evaluation. Research procedures include planning, implementing actions, observing and reflecting. The subjects in this research were 31 class IVA students at SD Inpres Minasa Upa. The results of the research showed that in the first cycle, of the 31 students who completed individually, only 17 students or 55% met the minimum completion criteria (KKM) or were in the low category. Classically it has not been met because the average value obtained was 59.90. Meanwhile, in cycle II, out of 31 students, 26 people or 81% had fulfilled the KKM and classically had been met, namely the average score obtained was 84.41 or was in the high category. Based on the research results above, it can be concluded that the results of learning to write descriptive text for class IVA students at SD Inpres Minasa Upa through the application of the sociocognitive learning model assisted by interactive multimedia have increased.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of using syllable bridge media (JASUKA) on the beginning reading ability of class I students at SDN 73 Reatoa, Mallawa District, Maros Regency. The type of research used is experimentation with a method in the form of Pre-Experimental Design which uses the form of a one group pretest-posttest design. The data source in this research was 15 class I students at SDN 73 Reatoa, Mallawa District, Maros Regency. Data collection was carried out using observation sheets, tests and documentation. The results of the pretest data research or before using the syllable bridge media (JASUKA), namely the average score was 61.13. Meanwhile, the average posttest score after using the syllable bridge media (JASUKA) was 82.13, which is considered high. After analyzing the inferential statistics, it was obtained that tCount was 41.470 and tTable 2, 14479, so it was obtained that tCount > tTable or 41.470 > 2.14479. Based on the results of tCount and tTable, it can be concluded that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, this means that the use of syllable bridge media (JASUKA) influences the beginning reading ability of class I students at SDN 73 Reatoa, Mallawa District, Maros Regency.
