The importance of introducing and expanding understanding of Indonesian culture at the global level has encouraged efforts to develop Indonesian language teaching materials that are innovative and attractive to foreign speakers. One aspect that attracts attention is the use of culinary material as teaching material, which not only introduces Indonesian, but also explores the richness of Indonesian culture. This research describes a research into the development of teaching materials based on "Soto Lamongan" as an Indonesian language learning tool for foreign speakers. The research method used is a qualitative method. which integrates steps in accordance with the needs of research and development of teaching materials. Data sources used in this research include various books, scientific journal articles, as well as survey results regarding the needs of foreign speakers at Yale University for BIPA teaching materials. The subject of this research is BIPA teaching materials which were developed as a learning tool for foreign speakers at Yale University. The results of the research show that the "Soto Lamongan" teaching materials are able to increase students' interest and understanding of the Indonesian language and Indonesian culture as a whole. This teaching material includes language skills, namely reading, writing, listening and speaking. This research makes an important contribution in supporting the internationalization of Indonesian by exploiting culinary potential as an effective and attractive learning medium for foreign speakers.
