EDUKASI STUNTING DENGAN PANDUAN MAKANAN GIZI SEIMBANG MENGGUNAKAN BUKU DIGITAL DAN AUDIO VISUAL DI LKSA AMANAH KOTA TASIKMALAYA

Abstract

Abstrak: Stunting merupakan kondisi gagal tumbuh kembang dan masalah terkait gizi yang disebabkan oleh asupan gizi yang kurang. Penderita stunting memiliki postur tubuh lebih pendek dari standar usianya, mudah sakit, serta memiliki produktivitas yang rendah pada saat dewasa. Penerapan pencegahan stunting pada anak-anak merupakan hal penting yang harus terus digerakkan sebagai upaya penurunan nilai prevalensi stunting. Dengan demikian, diharapkan angka kejadian stunting di Indonesia dapat ditekan. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan edukasi terkait stunting dan upaya pencegahannya melalui pola makan gizi seimbang menggunakan buku digital dan audio visual. Kegiatan pengabdian ini mampu meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat tentang pentingnya mencegah stunting dengan pemenuhan gizi seimbang dan dengan edukasi melalui buku digital serta audio visual akan mudah dipahami oleh masyarakat. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilakukan di LKSA Amanah Tasikmalaya dengan dihadiri jumlah responden 63 orang. Media yang digunakan berupa buku digital dan audio visual terkait stunting serta gizi seimbang, dan juga pemberian kuesioner dengan jumlah pertanyaan 10 soal. Hasil penilaian menggunakan kuesioner dengan metode pre-post test menunjukan adanya peningkatan dari 68,37% menjadi 88,90%. Sehingga terdapat peningkatkan pengetahuan responden terhadap penegtahuan stunting dan pola pemilihan makanan kandungan gizi seimbang.Abstract: Stunting is a condition of failure to grow and develop and problems related to nutrition caused by insufficient nutritional intake. Stunting sufferers have a body posture that is shorter than standard for their age, get sick easily, and have low productivity as adults. Implementing stunting prevention in children is an important thing that must continue to be carried out as an effort to reduce the prevalence of stunting. In this way, it is hoped that the number of stunting incidents in Indonesia can be reduced. This community service activity aims to provide education regarding stunting and efforts to prevent it through a balanced nutritional diet using digital books and audio visuals. This service activity is able to increase public awareness about the importance of preventing stunting by providing balanced nutrition and education through digital books and audio visuals that will be easily understood by the public. This community service activity was carried out at LKSA Amanah Tasikmalaya, attended by 63 respondents. The media used were digital books and audio visuals related to stunting and balanced nutrition, as well as providing a questionnaire with a total of 10 questions. The results of the assessment using a questionnaire with the pre-post test method showed an increase from 68.37% to 88.90%. So there is an increase in respondents' knowledge regarding stunting awareness and food selection patterns with balanced nutritional content.
