The results of this study show that in the use of gadgets by children, there are positive and negative impacts that need to be considered. Gadgets provide access to online learning and introduce them to the development of modern times. The ease of communicating through social media is also a positive aspect, improving children's technological skills. However, negative impacts such as stress, anger, anxiety, and depression also appear as a reaction to mental stress. Parents play an important role in controlling the use of gadgets, by providing directions, time limits, supervision, and alternative activities. Parents' awareness to limit gadget time and replace it with joint activities and get used to reading with children is a positive step in minimizing the negative impact of using gadgets
