Abstract This study aims to test the hypothesis of the influence of work environment and job description on employee job performance at the Secretariat of the Regional People's Representative Council (DPRD) of South Sumatra Province. The sampling technique used in this study was a saturated sample technique with a total of 91 civil servant respondents. The research data were analyzed using Simple Linear Regression Analysis, Multiple Linear Regression Analysis, Coefficient of Determination Analysis, as well as t-test and F-test.
