<![CDATA[The purpose of this study is to find out: The extent to which pastoral care has progressed in the Adventist Church, and to find out the reasons for the failure of some pastors. This research is a writing which is the result of library research by researchers which is described descriptively. The results showed that God gave or bestowed a shepherd in His church, to advise, guide, and guide His people in the true knowledge of God; and to hold fast to the truth, and to grow in spiritual growth and in faith to believe in Christ Jesus as the head of the church. Success in building a spiritual life, can only be done by them or the pastors of the congregation who have a spiritual life or spiritual qualifications that are in accordance with the standard of the truth of God's word as recommended by God through God's apostles written in the Bible, namely in 1 Timothy 3 :1-7 and Titus 1:5-9.]]>
