<![CDATA[This study aims to describe students' mathematical critical thinking skills in solving congruence problems based on students' self-confidence. The research method used is descriptive qualitative analysis with data collection using tests, questionnaires and interviews. The research was conducted on 23 students of class XII IPA MA Al-Khoirot. The research subjects were selected three students based on self confidence, namely high, medium and low. The results obtained data that students with high Self-Confidence level can fulfill four indicators of mathematical critical thinking ability, while students with moderate Self-Confidence level can fulfill two indicators of mathematical critical thinking ability and students with low Self-Confidence can only fulfill 1 indicator of mathematical critical thinking ability. In this case, it means that students' mathematical critical thinking patterns are connected to their self-confidence, the higher the level of self-confidence that students have, the higher the level of mathematical critical thinking.
