Abstract

ABSTRACT A search aimed to improve learners' activity and learning outcomes with the Problem-Based Learning model. This research was a Classroom Action Research. To collect the data, the researcher used test learning result techniques. The subject of this research was a student of class VII D at SMP Negeri 10 Kota Bengkulu in the academic year 2017/2018, with a total number of 27 students in squares and triangles. This research shows that applying the Problem-Based Learning model can improve the results of students' mathematic learning. Based on the 2013 curriculum in SMP N 10, Kota Bengkulu represents learning for a (a) individual if students get a value of 75, (b) classical if 75% of students get grades 75. The improvement of students' learning results can be seen from the average scores in the pra cycle, cycle I, and cycle II in a row, which are 42,33; 70,46, and 82,46. Furthermore, the completeness of classical learning in pra cycle I, cycle I, and cycle II in a row are 14,9%, 55,5%, and 81,5%. Keywords: Learning math Outcomes, Problem-Based Learning
