<![CDATA[ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan tenis meja pada siswa laki-laki kelas VIII SMPN 12 Kota Bengkulu. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pendekatan kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian ini berjumlah 30 siswa laki-laki kelas VIII SMPN 12 Kota Bengkulu. Instrumen dan teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes forehand dan backhand dalam permainan tenis meja. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, tes kemampuan servis forehand pada permainan tenis meja pada siswa laki-laki kelas VIII SMPN 12 Kota Bengkulu dalam kategori Cukup yakni sebanyak 11 orang siswa laki-laki kelas VIII SMPN 12 Kota Bengkulu atau dengan Persentase sebesar 37%. dan tes kemampuan servis Backhand pada permainan tenis meja pada siswa laki-laki kelas VIII SMPN 12 Kota Bengkulu dalam kategori Kurang yakni sebanyak 13 orang siswa laki-laki kelas VIII SMPN 12 Kota Bengkulu atau dengan Persentase sebesar 43%. This type of research is a quantitative approach research. The subjects of this study were 30 male students of class VIII SMPN 12 Bengkulu City. The results showed that the forehand service ability test in table tennis in class VIII male students of SMPN 12 Bengkulu City was in the Enough category, namely 11 male students in class VIII SMPN 12 Bengkulu City or with a percentage of 37%. and the Backhand service ability test in table tennis for male students of class VIII SMPN 12 Bengkulu City in the Less category, namely 13 male students in class VIII SMPN 12 Bengkulu City or with a percentage of 43%.
