This study aimed to find out about the implementation of projected still learning Media in learning Catholic Religious Education as well as knowing the participation of students in learning in class XI IPS 2 SMA St. Yoseph Medan. The background of this research was conducted because teachers still often use the lecture method in learning, which makes the learning process less interesting. This resulted in students lacking active participation during the learning process. This research uses a qualitative approach. Researchers collected data through observation, interviews, and documentation. The research targets include Catholic Religion Teachers and Students in class XI IPS 2 SMA St.Yoseph Medan. The results of the study show that the Implementation of Projected Still Learning Media at St. Yoseph High School Medan, has been integrated into the teaching and learning process. This can be seen from the use of projected Still media by the teacher to present the subject matter. In addition, the use of projected still media is able to increase students' learning participation by involving them in the teaching and learning process of Catholic Religious Education.
