<![CDATA[Abstract : This study aims to examine the coping strategies undertaken to solve the poor peasant. This problems in diversification of local food consumption at rural areas. Research sites defined intentionally in the Limpakuwus Village, Sumbang District, Banyumas Regency, Central Java Province. This research used a descriptive case study method. The research needs primary and secondary data. Based on the research results revealed there are various poor peasants problems in diversification of local food consumption. Poor peasant in Limpakuwus Village have the ability to perform various forms of coping strategies to solve a variety of internal and external problems diversification of local food consumption. However, the strength of the various forms of coping strategies of poor peasants still fragile food security to support the family. However, poor peasants seemed to be trying to use it flexibly because it is always adjusted first with their resources.]]>
