Abstract

Tujuan dari tulisan ini ialah mengkaji perubahan perilaku anggota Kelompok Pemuda Tani Mlethek Srengenge pada proses adopsi teknologi modifikasi produk tourism souvenir goods olahan limbah kelapa.  Lokasi kegiatan ditetapkan secara sengaja di Desa Tinggar Jaya, Kecamatan Jatilawang, Kabupaten Banyumas, Propinsi Jawa Tengah. Metode pendekatan yang dimanfaatkan adalah diskusi terfokus, pelatihan dan demostrasi cara. Mitra yang menjadi khalayak sasaran strategis yakni delapan orang anggota Kelompok Pemuda Tani Mlethek Srengenge. Waktu kegiatan berlangsung mulai Maret sampai November 2014.  Berdasarkan hasil analisis terhadap evaluasi antara pre test dengan post test diketahui bahwa terjadi perubahan perilaku pada kesemua anggota kelompok mitra dalam proses adopsi teknologi modifikasi produk tourism souvenir goods berbahan ragam limbah kelapa. Perubahan perilaku tersebut berlangsung baik pada domain afektif, kognitif maupun psikomotorik. Tingkat perubahan yang paling dominan ditemukan pada domain kognitif.   Meskipun demikian, perubahan perilaku yang dialami kesemua anggota khalayak sasaran strategis perlu terus mendapat pendampingan intensif khususnya untuk mencapai kemandirian dalam pengelolaan usaha mikro tourism souvenir goods olahan limbah kelapa.  Kata Kunci: perubahan perilaku, adopsi, teknologi modifikasi produk, tourism souvenir goods dan limbah kelapa

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji keterkaitan antara modal sosial dengan penguatan diversifikasi pangan pada rumahtangga petani miskin di pedesaan.  Lokasi penelitian ditetapkan secara sengaja di Desa Limpakuwus, Kecamatan Sumbang, Kabupaten Banyumas, Propinsi Jawa Tengah.  Metode penelitian ini ialah studi kasus deskriptif.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tingkat keterkaitan antara modal sosial dengan penguatan diversifikasi pangan pada responden tergolong tinggi.  Kata Kunci :  modal sosial, penguatan, diversifikasi pangan dan rumahtangga petani miskin

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengkaji tentang kategorisasi berbagai desain produk souvenir kreatif dari lahan limbah kelapa.  Lokasi peneliti ditetapkan secara sengaja di Kecamatan Baturaden, Kabupaten Banyumas dan Kecamatan Purbalingga Wetan, Kabupaten Purbalingga, Propinsi Jawa Tengah.  Metode penelitian yang dimanfaatkan ialah survai.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat beberapa jenis desain produk souvenir kreatif olahan limbah kelapa, yang telah dikembangkan informan guna memenuhi permintaan konsumen. Kategorisasi desain produk souvenir kreatif didasarkan pemenuhan permintaan untuk kegiatan: pasar wisata, acara ulang tahun, promosi produk/jasa, hiasan rumah, pernikahan, pameran asesoris, acara perpisahan dan kegiatan aktivitas pendidikan.  Para informan di kedua lokasi penelitian mengembangkan berbagai desain produk sesuai trend pasar.  Meskipun demikian, pengembangan desain tersebut  masih tergantung pada kemampuan informan dalam menerapkan teknologi modifikasi.Kata Kunci; kategorisasi, desain produk, souvenir kreatif dan limbah kelapa

Abstract

Abstract : This study aims to examine the coping strategies undertaken to solve the poor peasant. This problems in diversification of local food consumption at rural areas. Research sites defined intentionally in the Limpakuwus Village, Sumbang District, Banyumas Regency, Central Java Province. This research used a descriptive case study method. The research needs primary and secondary data. Based on the research results revealed there are various poor peasants problems in diversification of local food consumption. Poor peasant in Limpakuwus Village have the ability to perform various forms of coping strategies to solve a variety of internal and external problems diversification of local food consumption. However, the strength of the various forms of coping strategies of poor peasants still fragile food security to support the family. However, poor peasants seemed to be trying to use it flexibly because it is always adjusted first with their resources.

Abstract

A weak bargaining position in product marketing is a serious problem for farmers including those who diversify their livelihood patterns as souvenir craftsmen. Collector traders and retailers are dominant to set prices for souvenirs. Souvenir craftsmen surrender to accept any price level determination. As a consequence, souvenir craftsmen in the villages of Baturaden and Purbalingga Wetan have difficulties in earning profits from micro-souvenir businesses. The results of this study found that a solution to overcome the problem of the weak bargaining position of craftsmen in marketing souvenir products is through the use of a social-capital creation approach. The intensity of network functions of cooperation, mutual trust, values, and norms have different values in each bargaining position activity. Price domination by collectors and retailers is not only due to the dilemma of patron-client relationships. The qualities of souvenir products that are still not qualified turned out to be the cause of the weak bargaining position of craftsmen. The creation of social capital has a real function to strengthen the bargaining position of craftsmen in marketing souvenirs. The intensity of the function of social capital needs to be increased through the development of product quality, bargaining courage, and the ability to make price decisions in an agreement.

Abstract

This article aims to review the urgency of the use technology substitution of materials inthe development of micro enterprises organic feed with protein. Existence of microenterprises organic feed with protein have economic value, social, and environmental forefforts to empower peasants. With the technology of substitution of materials, microenterprises can contribute to the improvement of peasants income. Ingredients by proteinorganic feed derived from various types of agricultural waste. This type of enterprises is alsopotentially reduce the economic burden of peasants because it is easier to feed for fresh waterfish with a low cost.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is (1) to know the process of producing brown sugar made by craftsmen in the village of Kubangkangkung, Kawunganten district, Cilacap City, (2) to find out the social-economic factors that affect the production process and the marketing process of brown sugar in the village of Kubangkangkung, Kawunganten district, Cilacap City, (3) to fint out the problems and solutions faced by farmers during the process of producing and marketing brown sugar in the village of Kubangkangkung, Kawunganten district, Cilacap City, (4) to analyze the marketing process of brown sugar in the village of Kubangkangkung, Kawunganten district, Cilacap City. This research uses primary and secondary analysis. Research method used by researcher is using survey method with respondent 35. In marketing channel there are 3 marketing channel so that will know difference of price, profit, and channel effective for brown sugar artisans.

Abstract

Penyuluhan pertanian diartikan sebagai seseorang yang atas nama pemerintah atau lembaga penyuluhan berkewajiban untuk mempengaruhi proses pengambilan keputusan yang dilakukan oleh sasaran penyuluhan untuk mengadopsi inovasi. Untuk mengidentifikasi keberadaan seorang penyuluh pertanian dalam menjalankan tugasnya maka perlu adanya analisis terhadap profil yang dimiliki penyuluh yang terdiri dari tingkat umur, tingkat pendidikan, lamanya menjadi penyuluh pertanian dan juga metode yang digunakan penyuluh dalam melakukan kegiatan penyuluhannya.Dengan adanya suatu interaksi antara penyuluh pertanian dengan petani padi semi organik Jatijaya maka faktor sosial ekonomi berpengaruh terhadap tingkatan interaksi sosial. Faktor tersebut berupa motivasi penyuluh pertanian dan petani responden, kualifikasipenyuluh, kemndirian penyuluh dan petani responden, tujuan berusahatani petani responden, dukungan keluarga penyuluh dan petani responden, serta dukungan dari aparat Desa Sawangan.Pengaruh interaksi sosial penyuluh pertanian dengan anggota kelompok tani padi semi organik memberi pengaruh yang nyata terhadap produksi padi, ini terbukti adanya suatu peningkatan produksi padi disetiap anggota petani padi semi organik Jatijaya pada musim tanam kedua April sampai September dengan rata-rata meningkat 10 % dan petani responden merasa ada pengaruh yang cukup kuat terhadap peningkatan produksi padi semi organik setelah adanya penyuluhan tentang budidaya padi semi organik.

Abstract

This research aimed to know a portrait of entrepreneurship craftsmen souvenirs from processed coconut shell in Karangtengah Village, Subdistrict Baturraden, Banyumas Regency related to some aspect that was pre-production, production process and post production. That data was used primary and secondary data. Sample taken used purposive sampling technique. The survey results revealed that the portrait of entrepreneurial farmers artisans souvenirs from coconut shell related aspects of pre-production include: Provision of raw materials, equipment, provision of workshops and capital. A portrait of entrepreneurship craftsmen souvenirs from precessed coconut shell related post-production aspect include: craftsmen 100% in post-production did not the packing technique. Marketing outlets of souvenirs craft that direct and indirect. Constraint problems that done was the lower prices because many of the competition, a less extensive marketing coverage, the consumerdoes not have deserted so wide.

Abstract

The activity of farming does not only refer to how much the are of land or how many farmers produce the meal product from plants or animals raised. Farm business has been done from head water namely from pre production to down stream namely the process of post harvest. There are some farming business done by the people of Purbalingga, one of the potential business to develop human resources is Coconut farming is well as its waste business. The business of coconut in Purbalingga Wetan village is one of examples of the down stream farming activity. The products of the coconut shell are irus, ciri, mutu, soled, rice scoup (centong), and other handicraft. The social factors influencing thecontinuity of cococnut shell handicraft were: the ability of the farmers and crafstmen in providing the material, the networking, goverment’s and family’s supports, skill in heritance from previous generation, the ability to give confidence, and the farmer’s skill to recycle the waste of coconut shell to be handicraft. The economy factors affecting the continuity were: the price determination of the product, the craftsmen’s skill to gain the main revenue, marketing channel used either director indirect system, and the product demand of handicraft the always improving.
