The Independent Campus Learning (MBKM) is a policy of fulfilling students' rights for study in 3 semesters outside the study program according to each student's interests and abilities. The existence of the new policy cannot be separated from the problems felt by both employees and students as the participants. As a form of support to this policy, the University created a policy implementation strategy to produce quality of the graduates according to the output targets of MBKM activities. This research aims to find out and identify MBKM implementation strategies at the University X with the research study conducted in March to May 2024. Data collection in this study was carried out by collecting primary data and secondary data with data analysis techniques using fishbone diagrams and strategy formulation using the SWOT method. The research results show that students experience confusion regarding activity information and credit conversion in the MBKM program due to several factors including humans, methods, environment, and equipment. The proposed improvement suggestions refer to the SO strategy by adding MBKM laboratories in each faculty to achieve equal distribution of activity success and quick response in responding to student obstacles as MBKM participants.
