This study aims to find out an overview of wedding party traditions and civic culture that exists in wedding party traditions in members of the Pelimpaan Village community, Jawai District, Sambas Regency. The research method used is a qualitative method with a descriptive type of research. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data collection tools use observation guides, interview guides and documentation tools. The data analysis in this study was presented descriptively qualitatively, with ten informants, namely Village Heads, Religious Leaders, Hamlet Heads, RT Chairmen and six community members. The results showed: (1) The tradition of wedding parties in community members in Pelimpaan village consists of three stages, namely the preparation stage, kaccik day, and bassar day. The preparatory stage begins with nyaro' meetings, making tarups, making emper-empers, borrowing glassware. Kacik day held ngantar pakatan, mulang-repatriating and eating besaprah events. The big day has zikir al- barzanji activities, Qur'anic khataman, besaprah meal, belarak, and bridal peace meal. (2) The culture of citizenship that exists in the marriage tradition of members of the Pelimpaan village community is civility, responsibility, self-discipline, care, solidarity and tolerance.
