Improving the quality of education in schools begins with enhancing the learning process through improved teacher performance. One effective strategy to achieve this is the implementation of academic supervision by school principals, which directly influences teacher professionalism and performance, ultimately impacting the quality of learning. This study aims to analyze the planning, implementation, and evaluation of academic supervision conducted by madrasah principals to enhance teacher performance at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 11 Pidie Jaya Regency. Using a qualitative approach, data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, focusing on the stages of planning, implementation, and evaluation. The findings indicate that (1) Academic supervision planning at MIN 11 Pidie Jaya is structured around clear objectives, well-prepared schedules, appropriate supervision techniques, and the use of suitable instruments to enhance education quality, teacher competency, and overall performance; (2) The implementation follows a structured process involving pre-observation, observation, and post-observation stages; and (3) The evaluation of academic supervision includes follow-up actions, self-reflection, motivation, and systematic assessment, demonstrating significant improvements in teacher performance. These findings highlight the crucial role of academic supervision in fostering continuous professional development and enhancing the overall quality of education.
