<![CDATA[ABSTRAK Tujuan penenlitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan wujud dan fungsi nilai moral dalam novel Perempuan dari Lembah Mutis karya karya Mezra E. Pellondou. Teori yang digunakan adalah sosiologi sastra. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data disimpulkan bahwa novel Perempuan dari Lembah Mutis karya karya Mezra E. Pellondou memiliki wujud dan fungsi nilai moral, (1) nilai moral hubungan manusia dengan diri sendiri. a) perjuangan tokoh utama dengan fungsi nilai moral b) Penghargaan terhadap diri, c) memiliki impian, d) pengembangan diri, e) ketekuan, f) keberanian, g) komitmen, h) kebahagiaan, dan i) penyesalan, (2) Nilai moral yang berhubungan dengan sesama manusia. a) empati, b) Kerja sama, c) kepeduliaan, d) penghargaan, e) Pemberdayaan, f) Penyesalan, dan g) Kesetiaan, (3) Nilai moral yang berhubungan dengan Tuhan. a) Rasa Syukur, b) Kepercayaan, c) Pengakuan akan kuasa Tuhan, d) Permohonan, dan e) Pengabdian, (4) Nilai moral yang berhubungan dengan lingkungan. a) Tanggung jawab, b) kesadaran, dan c) kepeduliaan. Kata Kunci: nilai, moral, novel, sosiologi sastra. ABSTRACT The purpose of this research is to describe the form and function of moral values in the novel Women from the Lembah Mutis by Mezra E. Pellondou. The theory used is literary sociology. The research method used is qualitative descriptive. Based on the results of data analysis, it was concluded that the novel Women from the Lembah Mutis by Mezra E. Pellondou has the form and function of moral values, (1) the moral value of human relationships with oneself. a) the struggle of the main character with the function of moral values b) Respect for oneself, c) having dreams, d) self-development, e) perseverance, f) courage, g) commitment, h) happiness, and i) regret, (2) moral values related to fellow human beings. a) empathy, b) cooperation, c) caring, d) appreciation, e) empowerment, f) regret, and g) loyalty, (3) moral values related to God. a) Gratitude, b) Trust, c) Recognition of God's power, d) Petition, and e) Service, (4) Moral values related to the environment. a) Responsibility, b) awareness, and c) care.
