Abstract

This research aims to determine the implementation of the At Thoriqoh Al Mubasyarah method in learning Arabic in order to enrich the mufrodat (vocabulary) of MBS Zam Zam Cilongok students using the book Al Arabiyah Baina Yadaika. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, this research involved participant observation, in-depth interviews with Arabic teachers, and focus group discussions with students. Observations were carried out to observe the application of this method and the interactions between teachers and students during the learning process. In-depth interviews revealed teachers' perspectives regarding the effectiveness and challenges in implementing this method, while focus group discussions provided insight into students' experiences and opinions regarding the impact of this method on mufrodat mastery. Data analysis was carried out using thematic analysis techniques to identify main patterns and themes from participants' experiences. The research results show that the At Thoriqoh Al Mubasyarah method is effective in enriching santri mufrodat through an interactive and contextual approach. However, the success of implementing this method is very dependent on the active involvement of students and the teacher's competence in managing learning. This research provides an important contribution to the development of Arabic language learning strategies in Islamic boarding schools and can be a reference for other educational institutions interested in adopting the same method. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi implementasi metode At Thoriqoh Al Mubasyarah dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab guna memperkaya mufrodat (kosakata) santri di MBS Zam Zam Cilongok dengan menggunakan kitab Al Arabiyah Baina Yadaika. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, penelitian ini melibatkan observasi partisipatif, wawancara mendalam dengan guru bahasa Arab, serta diskusi kelompok terfokus (focus group discussion) dengan para santri. Observasi dilakukan untuk mengamati penerapan metode tersebut dan interaksi antara guru dan santri selama proses pembelajaran. Wawancara mendalam mengungkap perspektif guru terkait efektivitas dan tantangan dalam penerapan metode ini, sementara diskusi kelompok terfokus memberikan wawasan mengenai pengalaman dan pendapat santri tentang dampak metode ini terhadap penguasaan mufrodat mereka. Analisis data dilakukan dengan teknik analisis tematik untuk mengidentifikasi pola dan tema utama dari pengalaman para partisipan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode At Thoriqoh Al Mubasyarah efektif dalam memperkaya mufrodat santri melalui pendekatan yang interaktif dan kontekstual. Namun, keberhasilan implementasi metode ini sangat bergantung pada keterlibatan aktif santri dan kompetensi guru dalam mengelola pembelajaran. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi penting bagi pengembangan strategi pembelajaran bahasa Arab di pesantren dan dapat menjadi referensi bagi institusi pendidikan lain yang berminat mengadopsi metode sama.
