Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh model pembelajaran inkuiri terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam Sosial (IPAS) di kelas V SD Negeri 62 Banda Aceh. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan desain prete¬st dan post-test. Subjek penelitian  adalah kelas V dengan jumlah sampel 35 siswa Data di kumpulkan melalui tes hasil belajar sebelum dan sesudah penerapan model inkuiri. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji normalitas dan uji hipotesis dengan paired sample t-test. Hasil uji statistik menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara nilai pretest dan post-test (p < 0,05), yang mengindikasikan bahwa model pembelajaran inkuiri efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa pembelajaran inkuiri secara signifikan meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dibandingkan dengan model pembelajaran konvensional. Penerapan model pembelajaran inkuiri mampu mendorong siswa berpikir kritis dan, sehingga menciptakan pengalaman belajar yang lebih mendalam dan relevan. Penerapan model pembelajaran ini memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap kualitas pemahaman dan keterampilan berpikir ilmiah siswa, serta diharapkan dapat menjadi acuan bagi pengembangan metode pembelajaran yang lebih inovatif di sekolah dasar.Kata Kunci: Metode Inovatif; Peningkatan Prestasi; IPAS; Pembelajaran Aktif; Strategi PembelajaranAbstract : This study aims to analyze the influence of the guided inquiry learning model on improving students' learning outcomes in Social and Natural Sciences (IPAS) for Grade V at SD Negeri 62 Banda Aceh. The research utilized an experimental method with a pre-test and post-test design. The subjects were 35 students from Grade V. Data were collected through learning outcome tests administered before and after the implementation of the guided inquiry model. Data analysis involved normality testing and hypothesis testing using paired sample t-tests. The statistical test results revealed a significant difference between pre-test and post-test scores (p < 0.05), indicating that the guided inquiry learning model effectively enhances student learning outcomes. These findings suggest that guided inquiry significantly improves students' learning outcomes compared to conventional teaching methods. The application of the guided inquiry model fosters critical thinking among students, thereby creating deeper and more relevant learning experiences. This approach contributes positively to the quality of students' understanding and scientific thinking skills and is expected to serve as a reference for developing more innovative teaching methods in elementary schools.Keywords: Innovative Methods; Achievement Improvement; Social and Natural Sciences (IPAS); Active Learning; Learning Strategies
