Abstract. This research attempts to obtain information regarding differentiated instruction in teaching English especially descriptive text which is obtained from teacher skills and student activities. The subjects of this research were Eight Grade Students at UPT SMPN 1 Cina. This research used qualitative descriptive in collecting and analyzing the data. The results of this research showed that the learning process that has been done made the students feel happy and enthusiastic in participating in learning from the beginning to the end because the learning able to differentiate accommodate students' learning needs educate one class in learning descriptive text consisting of 16 male students and 12 female students.
