<![CDATA[Kemampuan spasial merupakan salah satu kemampuan matematis yang sangat penting dimiliki siswa khususnya dalam menyelesaikan masalah geometri. Untuk meningkatkan kemampuan spasial matematis perlu diterapkan model pembelajaran yang sesuai, yaitu model Problem-Based Learning (PBL). Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui efektifitas model PBL dalam meningkatkan kemampuan spasial matematis. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan metod quasi experimental dan desain penelitian adalah pre-experimental. Dengan teknik purposive sampling, peneliti mengambil sampel siswa kelas VIII-I dari salah satu sekolah yang ada di kabupaten Garut. Pengumpulan data menggunakan tes dan observasi. Hasil uji-t, uji-z dan uji gain dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model problem-based learning efektif digunakan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan spasial matematis siswa. Spatial ability is one of the mathematical skills that is very important for students, especially in solving geometry problems. To improve mathematical spatial ability, it is necessary to apply an appropriate learning model, namely the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model. The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of the PBL model in improving mathematical spatial ability. This study is quantitative research with a quasi-experimental method and the research design is pre-experimental. With the purposive sampling technique, the researcher took a sample of students in grades VIII-I from one of the schools in Garut district. Data collection uses tests and observations. The results of the t-test, z-test and gain test can be concluded that the application of the problem-based learning model is effectively used to improve students' mathematical spatial ability.]]>
