Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan kemandirian belajar matematika siswa kelas VII dengan menggunakan desain pembelajaran ASSURE. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuasi eksperimen, dengan desain kelompok kontrol pretes-postes. Pada kelompok kontrol, digunakan desain pembelajaran yang sedang berjalan yaitu desain Prosedur Pengembangan Sistem Instruksional (PPSI).Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri di Kabupaten Garut yang mencakup sekolah level bawah, tengah, dan atas.Dari masing-masing level tersebut, diambil sampel sebanyak tiga kelompok yaitu kelompok eksperimen 1 (siswa yang mendapat desain pembelajaran ASSURE dengan model Problem Based Learning/A-PBL); kelompok eksperimen 2 (siswa yang mendapat desain pembelajaran ASSURE dengan model Discovery Learning/A-DL) dan kelompok kontrol (siswa yang mendapat desain PPSI dengan model pembelajaran PBL dan DL). Dengan menggunakan teknik analisis data ANOVA, Kruskal-Wallis, Uji Tukey HSD, dan uji Perbandingan Berganda diperoleh  kesimpulan dari hasil penelitian ini, secara umum bahwa: peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan kemandirian belajar matematika  siswa yang mendapat desain pembelajaran ASSURE lebih baik dari siswa yang mendapat PPSI. The Comparison of ASSURE and PPSI Model as Instructional Design to Increase Mathematics Skills in Problem Solving and Self-Directed LearningAbstractThis study is aimed at reviewing the increase of Junior High School Students’ Mathematics skills in problem solving and Self-directed learning by using ASSURE design (Analyze learner characteristics; State standards and objectives; Select methods, media and materials; Utilize media and materials; Require learner participation; and Evaluate and revise). This study used experimental method with pretest-posttest control group design. The population in this study was grade VII students of State Junior High Schools located in Garut Regency consisting of schools with lower level, middle level, and top level. From the schools which had been randomly selected, three classes were also randomly selected to take as sample. The first two classes used ASSURE model as instructional design by applying Problem Based Learning (A-PBL) and Discovery Learning (A-DL) respectively. Meanwhile, the third class used conventional instructional design by applying Problem Based Learning and Discovery Learning (K-PBL/DL). By using ANOVA data analysis techniques, Kruskal-Wallis, Tukey HSD Test, and Multiple Comparison tests are concluded in general, the conclusion drawn based on the results of this study is that the increase of students' Mathematics skills in problem solving and Self-directed learning who were taught by using ASSURE model showed better results than those who were taught by using conventional model.

Abstract

Dewasa ini kecepatan serta ketepatan dalam bekerja merupakan hal yang menjadi tuntutan etos kerja. Teknologi hadir untuk memberikan kemudahan-kemudahan kepada masyarakat terhadap suatu masalah yang dihadapi. Salah satunya adalah adanya SMS gateway yang telah banyak diimplementasikan pada aplikasi bisnis. Sebagai peningkatan pelayanan kepada konsumen kecepatan, ketepatan, efisiensi merupakan standar kriteria yang harus ada pada setiap aktifitas masyarakat modern saat ini. Untuk mendapatkan kriteria tersebut dibutuhkan teknologi yang mendukung. Oleh karena itu dibutuhkan sebuah sistem yang sifatnya memudahkan konsumen bertransaksi. Penggunaan teknologi tersebut dapat diartikan dengan mengubah sistem pemesanan manual ke yang berbasis teknologi dan terkomputerisasi yaitu berbasis SMS gateway. Pemanfaatan layanan SMS gateway sebagai sarana layanan informasi dapat dijadikan sebuah alternatif kepada permasalahan masyarakat terkait layanan pemesanan. Layanan informasi tersebut salah satunya adalah layanan pemesanan beras pada toko beras PD. Saputra. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk membuat sistem informasi pemesanan beras berbasis sms gateway berbasis desktop application. Adapun metode perancangan yang penulis gunakan adalah Rapid Application Development (RAD) atau Pengembangan Aplikasi Cepat (PAC). Terdiri dari 3 fase yaitu: perencanaan syarat-syarat, workshop desain PAC, dan implementasi. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data yang penulis gunakan ialah analisis dokumen, observasi, dan wawancara.

Abstract

The importance of writing scientific paper based on Action Classroom Research for teachers in schools is the background why this training was carried out, given the number of teachers who make Action Classroom Research is still insignificant. Training carried out for 8 hours starts with a theoretical explanation of what Action Classroom Research is, how came up with an idea to create a Action Classroom Research and continued with assistance to the participants to create a classroom Action Classroom Research framework. The participants amounted to 13 people, consisting of middle and high school /vocational teachers in the Pameungpeuk area and its surroundings. The results showed that the teacher was able to analyze the problems in their respective schools to be used as a background in making a Action Classroom Research and also put forward a solution which later became the title of the Action Classroom Research. The results of this training can be used as a reference in carrying out the actual Action Classroom Research.

Abstract

The problem of teachers' weakness in using e-learning media to support the learning process is the theme raised in this training. The solution offered from this training is Edmodo e-learning media. The purpose of this training activity was to introduce Edmodo to the e-learning media for teachers in Garut. The research implementation method consists of five stages, namely: introduction, socialization, training, practice, and monitoring. The object of this training activity is alumni teachers from the Garut Indonesian Institute of Education campus. The training was conducted in two sessions, namely: presentation of material and practice. The usefulness of the training in the use of Edmodo e-learning media is evident from the commitment of the training participants about the plan to implement Edmodo's e-learning media in their learning class. The results of the evaluation of the implementation of this training indicate that this training is useful to support the teaching and learning process carried out in schools. The training method can improve the skills of teachers in using Edmodo e-learning media, both as teachers, students, and parents of students. The conclusion of this training is the knowledge in the use of Edmodo e-learning media for teachers so that it is hoped that in the future teachers in Garut will use Edmodo e-learning media in supporting teaching and learning activities

Abstract

AbstrakRendahnya kemampuan komunikasi matematis dan Self Confidence siswa berpengaruh terhadap prestasi dalam pembelajaran matematika. Perlu upaya untuk meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi dan Self Confidence siswa salah satunya dengan menggunakan model Discovery Learning dan Problem Based Learning. Tujuan penelitian untuk menganalisis perbedaan peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi matematis dan Self Confidence antara siswa yang mendapatkan model Discovery Learning dan Problem Based Learning. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuasi eksperimen dengan populasi seluruh siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 2 Garut. Sampel pada penelitian ini sebanyak dua kelas yaitu X MIPA 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen 1 sebanyak 35 siswa yang mendapat model Discovery Learning dan X MIPA 2 sebagai kelas eksperimen 2 sebanyak 33 siswa yang mendapat model Problem Based Learning. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan berupa tes uraian dan angket skala Bandura. Berdasarkan hasil analisis secara statistik diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa terdapat perbedaan peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi matematis antara siswa yang mendapatkan model Discovery Learning dan Problem Based Learning serta terdapat perbedaan peningkatan Self Confidence antara siswa yang mendapatkan model Discovery Learning dan Problem Based Learning. Differences in The Improvement of Mathematical Communication Skill and Self Confidence between Students Who Get the Discovery Learning and Problem Based LearningAbstractThe low mathematical communication skills and Self Confidence of the students affect achievement in mathematics learning. It is worth the effort to improve communication skills and Self Confidence of the students one by using the model of Discovery Learning and Problem Based Learning. Research purposes to analyze the differences in the increase in mathematical communication skills and Self Confidence among the students who get the model of Discovery Learning and Problem Based Learning. The research method used is a quasi-experiment with the entire population of students of class X SMA Negeri 2 Garut. The sample in this study were two classes, namely X MIPA 1 as a class experiment 1 as many as 35 students who received Discovery model Learning and X MIPA 2 as a class experiment 2 a total of 33 students who received the model of Problem Based Learning. The research instrument used in the form of test descriptions and questionnaire scale Bandura. Based on the results of the analysis of statistically obtained the conclusion that there are differences in mathematical communication skills among the students who get the model of Discovery Learning and Problem Based Learning as well as there are differences in the increase in Self Confidence among the students who get the model of Discovery Learning and Problem Based Learning.

Abstract

Abstract:This research is based on the fact that the understanding abilities of student mathematics o is low. The Purpose of this research was to know  the mathematics comparison result mathematics understanding ability between the students get Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL)  and metacognitive. The research method is used quasi experiment, with a significant level of 1%. After perform posttest of can taken by conclusion that mathematics understanding ability between  students’ who getting Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) as the same ability degree as metacognitive learning. Abstrak:Penelitian ini dilakukan berdasarkan adanya fakta  bahwa kemampuaan pemahaman matematika siswa masih rendah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hasil perbandingan kemampuan pemahaman matematika  antara siswa yang mendapatkan  pembelajaran Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) dengan Metakognitif. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuasi eksperimen, dengan taraf signifikan 1%. Setelah melakukan tes akhir dapat diambil kesimpulan kemampuan pemahaman  matematika antara siswa yang mendapatkan  pembelajaran Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) mempunyai tingkat kemampuan yang sama dengan siswa yang mendapatkan pembelajaran Metakognitif.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe results showed the existence of differences in the ability to understand the form of algebraic operations/between the lesson that students using props with which do not use props (t hitung > t tabel, price thitung =3,486, price ttabel = 2,686). Test results showed that the normalized gain an average increase in the learning outcomes of the experimental class is middle category (g= 0,619 ) and control class is low category (g = 0,415). Based on the supporting data in the form of observation and question form, assisted learning props more enjoyable and easy to understand.  ABSTRAKHasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya perbedaan kemampuan dalam memahami bentuk/operasi aljabar antara siswa yang pembelajarannya menggunakan alat peraga dengan yang tidak menggunakan alat peraga (thitung > ttabel, harga thitung = 3,486, harga ttabel = 2,686). Hasil uji gain ternormalisasi menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata peningkatan hasil pembelajaran dari kelas eksperimen berkatagori sedang (g = 0,619) dan kelas kontrol berkatagori rendah (g = 0,415). Berdasarkan data pendukung berupa observasi dan angket, pembelajaran dengan dibantu alat peraga lebih menyenangkan dan mudah dipahami.

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan kemampuan komunikasi matematis dan peningkatannya antara siswa yang mendapatkan model pembelajaranLearning Cycle 5Edengan STAD. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalahsiswa kelasVIII di MTs Al-Musthofa tahun ajaran 2015/2016 yang terdiri dari empat kelas dengan jumlah siswa 141 orang. Sampel diambil 63 siswa dari dua kelas, yaitu: kelas VIII-B menggunakan model pembelajaran Learning Cycle 5Edan kelas VIII-D menggunakan model pembelajaran STAD.Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu tes kemampuan komunikasi matematis, angket skala sikap, dan lembar observasi.Hasil penelitian untuk data tes akhir dan Gain Ternormalisasi diperoleh bahwa terdapat perbedaan kemampuan komunikasi dan peningkatannya antara siswa yang mendapatkan model pembelajaran Learning Cycle 5E dengan STAD, dengan kualitas peningkatan keduanya berinterpretasi sedang.Sikap siswa yang mendapatkan model pembelajaran Learning Cycle 5Edan STAD menunjukan sikap dengan interpretasi baik.Kata Kunci: Kemampuan Komunikasi Matematis, Learning Cycle 5E, STAD.AbstractThe research aim is to find the difference of mathematical communication ability and the improvement between students who get Learning Cycle 5E learning model with Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD). The population of the research were 8th grade students atMTs Al-Musthofa academic year 2015/2016 from four classes with total participants were 141 students. The sample took from 63 students from two classes, there were: VIII-Bclass that using Learning Cycle 5E learning model dan VIII-Dclass that usingSTAD learning model. The instrument was the mathematical communication ability test, attitude scale questionnaires and observations sheets. The result of the research of the final test and Normality Gain were that was the difference of mathematical communication ability and the improvement between students who get Learning Cycle 5E learning model with STAD, with the improvement quality of the both learning model interpreted average. Abstract

AbstrakKemampuan berpikir kritis matematis dan Habits of Mind merupakan salah satu kemampuan dasar yang harus dimiliki oleh siswa. Fakta menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis dan Habits of Mind siswa masih rendah. Diperlukan upaya untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis dan Habits of Mind siswa salah satunya menggunakan model Inquiry Learning dan model pembelajaran Creative Problem Solving. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisis perbedaan kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis dan Habits of Mind antara siswa yang mendapatkan model Inquiry Learning dengan Creative Problem Solving. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuasi eksperimen dengan populasi seluruh siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 11 Garut. Sampel pada penelitian ini sebanyak dua kelas yaitu kelas X-MIPA 5 sebanyak 35 siswa sebagai kelas eksperimen I yang mendapat model Inquiry Learning dan kelas  X-MIPA 6 sebanyak 35 siswa sebagai kelas eksperimen II yang mendapat model pembelajaran Creative Problem Solving. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan berupa tes uraian dan angket skala Likert. Berdasarkan hasil analisis secara statistik diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa terdapat perbedaan kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis dan Habits of Mind antara siswa yang mendapatkan model Inquiry Learning dengan Creative Problem Solving. Untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis dan Habits of Mind, model Inquiry Learning cocok digunakan. Mathematics Critical Thinking Ability And Habits Of Mind Using Inquiry Learning Model And Creative Problem Solving ModelAbstractMathematical Critical Thinking Skills and Habits of Mind are some of the basic abilities that students must have. The fact shows that the Mathematical Critical Thinking Skills and Habits of Mind are still low. Efforts are needed to improve the Mathematical Critical Thinking Skills and Habits of Mind, one of them using Inquiry Learning and Creative Problem Solving learning. The purpose of this research was to analyze the differences in Mathematical Critical Thinking Skills and Habits of Mind between students who get the Inquiry Learning model with Creative Problem Solving. The research method used a quasi-experimental with a population of all class X of SMAN 11 Garut. The sample consisted of two classes, class X Science 5 by 35 students as the first experimental class, which got Inquiry Learning model, and class X Science 6 by 35 students as the second experimental class which got Creative Problem-Solving learning model. The research instrument used a description test and a Likert scale questionnaire. Based on the results of statistical analysis, it is found that there are differences in Mathematical Critical Thinking Skills and Habits of Mind between students who get the Inquiry Learning model with Creative Problem Solving. To improve mathematical critical thinking skills and Habits of Mind, the Inquiry Learning model is suitable.

Abstract

Abstract In general students assume that statistics is scary enough course because the material requires a lot of counting. The purpose of this research is to compare Statistical communication ability between students who received MS Excel with students who received SPSS. The research method is experiment method by taking two classes as research samples. The first experiment class received MS Excel and the second experiment class received SPSS. The research materials include two test average of the dependent samples, two test average of independent samples, one way ANOVA test, regression , and simple correlation. The research results by using independent t-test, one way ANOVA, two way ANOVA, as well as further  Post Hoc test using Tukey HSD test with significant level of 0.05 conclude that : 1) Statistical communication ability of students who got MS Excel was better than those who got SPSS. 2) The increase in statistical communication ability of students who got MS Excel is better than those who got SPSS. 3) The increasing achievement of  statistical communication, based on students early capability (low, average, high), of those students who got MS Exce was better than those who got SPSS for the students who have low and average level. For students who have high level there was no significant difference in students who got MS Excel than those who got SPSS. 4) There was no interactive influence between learning model given and students early capability toward statistical communication ability.
