<![CDATA[Abstract. Unresolved conflict in the Batak Toba community can lead to the severance of family relation with the emergence of the statement, "Mardomu di Tano Rara." This severance of family relation occurs because each party does not want to forgive. This article aims to analyze the concept of Paul's theology of reconciliation in the letter of Philemon as a resolution of severance of family relation in the conflict in the Batak Toba community. This study used a grammatical analysis approach to the Letter of Philemon. The results of the study show that Paul's approach in the Letter of Philemon provides a perspective that reconciliation not only bring abaout the restoration of damaged relationship, but also result in the reformation of relationship.Abstrak. Konflik yang tidak terselesaikan dalam masyarakat Batak Toba dapat menimbulkan keterputusan hubungan kekeluargaan dengan munculnya pernyataan, “Mardomu di Tano Rara.” Keterputusan kekeluargaan ini terjadi karena masing-masing pihak tidak mau mengampuni. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis konsep teologi pendamaian Paulus dalam surat Filemon sebagai resolusi keterputusan kekeluargaan dalam konflik di masyarakat Batak Toba. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan analisis gramatikal terhadap Surat Filemon. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan Paulus dalam Surat Filemon memberikan perspektif bahwa rekonsiliasi bukan hanya menghasilkan pemulihan relasi yang rusak, namun juga menghasilkan reformasi relasi.]]>
