Mediasi keterlibatan siswa dalam mempengaruhi efikasi diri dan self-regulated learning terhadap kemampuan berfikir kritis

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji dan menganalisis pengaruh secara langsung dan tidak langsung efikasi diri dan self regulated learning terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dengan keterlibatan siswa sebagai variabel mediasi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian kausalitas. Teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu menggunakan proportional random sampling. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Kroya Kabupaten Cilacap dengan sampel sebanyak 81 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan analisis statatistik inferensial yaitu menggunakan SEM PLS dengan software WarpPLS 8.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan efikasi diri terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa; terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan self regulated learning terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis; terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan keterlibatan siswa terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa; terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan efikasi diri terhadap keterlibatan siswa, terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan self regulated learning terhadap keterlibatan siswa; terdapat pengaruh positif secara langsung dan signifikan efikasi diri terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa yang dimediasi oleh keterlibatan siswa; dan keterlibatan siswa tidak dapat memediasi self regulated learning terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Disarankan bagi siswa untuk mengarahkan agar mampu membangun keterlibatan siswa di dalam proses pembelajaran. Mediation of student engagement in influencing self-efficacy and self-regulated learning on critical thinking skills Abstract: The purpose of this study was to examine and analyze the direct and indirect effects of self-efficacy and self-regulated learning on students' critical thinking skills with student engagement as a mediating variable. This research is a quantitative research with a causality research design. The sampling technique uses proportional random sampling. The population of this study was all class X SMA Negeri 1 Kroya Cilacap Regency with a sample of 81 students. The data collection technique used a questionnaire. Data analysis techniques using descriptive analysis and inferential statistical analysis, namely using SEM PLS with WarpPLS 8.0 software. The results showed that there was a positive and significant effect of self-efficacy on students' critical thinking ability; there was a positive and significant effect of self-regulated learning on critical thinking ability; there was a positive and significant effect of student involvement on students' critical thinking ability; there was a positive and significant effect of self-efficacy on student involvement, there was a positive and significant effect of self-regulated learning on student involvement; there was a direct and significant positive effect of self-efficacy on students' critical thinking ability mediated by student involvement; and student involvement could not mediate self-regulated learning on students' critical thinking ability. It is recommended for students. It is recommended for students to aim to build student engagement in the learning process.
