Contextual learning is a method that emphasizes the relationship between the material taught and the real experiences of students, so that it can improve their understanding and learning outcomes. This study aims to analyze the application of contextual learning methods in improving student learning outcomes in the material Belief in the Book of Allah SWT. The research method used is a qualitative approach with observation techniques, interviews, and evaluation of student learning outcomes. The results of the study show that the contextual learning method is able to improve student understanding because the material is linked to everyday life. Students become more active in learning, discussing, and are able to relate the concept of faith in the books of Allah SWT with their experiences. In addition, this method helps students develop critical and reflective thinking skills, so that they not only understand the theory, but are also able to practice the values of faith in everyday life. Thus, contextual learning is an effective strategy in improving student understanding and learning outcomes in Islamic Religious Education subjects, especially in the material Belief in the Book of Allah SWT.
