This study aims to describe the role of guidance and counseling services in improving student learning discipline at SMP Negeri 1 Joyo Jaya which includes several services, namely orientation services, information services, placement and distribution services, tutoring services, individual counseling services, and group counseling services. With these six guidance and counseling services, it can help improve student learning discipline at school. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews, documentation studies, and questionnaires. The results of the study show that the role of guidance and counseling services in improving student learning discipline at SMP Negeri 1 Joyo Jaya is in the good category, namely 66.47%, which includes the role of guidance and counseling services with a score of 65% with the category while student learning discipline with a score of 67.95% with the good category.
