Tindak tutur ekspresif sering ditemukan dalam aktivitas pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Jember. Tindak tutur ekspresif yang dimaksud adalah tindak tutur ekspresif guru kepada siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan pola, fungsi, dan modus tindak tutur ekspresif yang digunakan guru kepada siswa dalam aktivitas pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Data yang dikumpulkan berupa segmen tutur guru Bahasa Indonesia beserta konteksnya. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi kelas. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik padan pragmatik dan teknik klasifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya 8 pola bentuk tutur ekspresif yang digunakan oleh guru, termasuk ekspresif ucapan terima kasih, ucapan selamat, penolakan, keluhan, kritik, pujian, kesal, dan ancaman. Semua pola bentuk tindak tutur ekspresif disampaikan secara lisan didukung oleh tindakan non-verbal dalam bentuk gerak tubuh dan intonasi suara. Dalam penelitian ini, ditemukan 8 fungsi tindak tutur eskpresif, seperti mengucap terima kasih, mengucap selamat, mengeluh, menolak, mengkritik, memuji, menyalahkan, dan mengancam. Juga terdapat 4 modus tindak tutur ekspresif, yaitu imperatif, interogatif, deklaratif, dan eksklamatif. The Expressive speech acts are often found in Indonesian language learning activities at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Jember. The expressive speech acts in question are those of the teacher towards the students. This research aims to describe the patterns, the functions, and the modes of expressive speech acts used by teachers towards students in learning activities. This research employs a qualitative research design with a descriptive research type. The data collected consists of segments of Indonesian language teachers' utterances along with their context. Data was collected through classroom observation. Data analysis was carried out using pragmatic matching techniques and classification techniques. The results show that there are 8 patterns of expressive speech forms used by teachers, including expressions of gratitude, congratulations, refusal, complaints, criticism, praise, annoyance, and threats. All expressive speech act patterns are delivered orally, supported by non-verbal actions in the form of body movements and voice intonation. In this study, 8 functions of expressive speech acts were found, such as thanking, congratulating, complaining, refusing, criticizing, praising, blaming, and threatening.
