This research aims to describe the forms of Minangkabau language interference with Indonesian and the factors that influence the occurrence of interference by fifth grade students at SD Negeri 04 Lubuk Alung. The data in this research is the interference of Minangkabau language with Indonesian. Data collection uses note-taking and recording techniques. By using this technique, the author can collect data that is appropriate to the research. The results of this research show that there are still many students and teachers who make deviations when speaking to their friends or teachers, which is called phonological interference. Interferences found in class V include replacing the consonant phoneme /k/ with /t/, replacing the vowel phoneme /o/ with /a/ or /a/ with /e/ and eliminating the vowel phoneme, namely /a/. Therefore, this research was conducted to find out how many language deviations occur in Indonesian during classroom learning.
