Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh gaya belajar terhadap hasil belajar pada mata kuliah Pengajaran Keterampilan membaca mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia STKIP YDB Lubuk Alung. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa semester VI Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah keseluruhan mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia sebanyak 37 orang. Variabel dalam penelitian ini adalah variabel bebas (independen) yaitu pengaruh gaya belajar dan variabel terikat (dependent) yaitu kemampuan membaca mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia semester VI. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dan instrumen tes membaca. Data hasil penelitian ini dianalisis secara deskriptif dengan statistik sederhana dan menggunakan persentase (%) untuk gaya belajar, sedangkan pengaruh gaya belajar terhadap hasil belajar dianalisis menggunakan regresi sederhana dan ANOVA melalui program SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan  bahwa  terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan gaya belajar terhadap mata kuliah keterampilan membaca mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia  STKIP YDB Lubuk Alung. Hasil analisis data, menunjukkan bahwa koofisien korelasi (ry) = 0,366 dengan . Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa hipotesis yang berbunyi bahwa gaya belajar mahasiswa berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar mahasiswa dapat diterima pada taraf kepercayaan 95%. Besaran pengaruh belajar mahasiswa terhadap hasil belajar mahasiswa 13,4%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to, (1) to describe the pattern of sentence children aged 3;0-4;0 years, (2) describe the form of speech children aged 3;0-4;0 years, (3) describe the form of implications for the development of language skills early childhood (AUD). This type of research is descriptive qualitative research method. based on the data analysis we can conclude the following matters as this. First, the sentence pattern diujarkan by children aged 3; 0-4; 0 years is. P (Predicate), S-P (Subject-Predicate), S-P-O-Pel (Subject-Predicate-Object-Complement) and S-P-O-Ket (Subject-Predicate-Object-Specification). Second, the form of speech children aged 3;0-4;0 year consists of speech one word, two words, three words, four words and five words. Third, the form of implications for the early childhood language skills.

Abstract

Abstract

The aim of this study as follows. (1) describe the type of illocutionary speech acts used the main character in the comic discourse Three Seniors Streets Benny Rachmadi Singapore to work, (2) describe the function of illocutionary speech acts used the main character in the comic discourse Seniors Three Roads to the work of Benny Singapore Rachmadi, (3) describe the dominant illocutionary speech acts used the main character in the comic discourse Three Seniors Streets Benny Rachmadi Singapore to work. This research is a qualitative research method in this study deskriptif.Data main character in the form of narrative discourse Seniors comic Three Roads to Singapore Work Rachmadiyang Benny containing illocutionary speech acts. Data collection techniques used in this study is the technique of note, which is a technique used by researchers dealing with the use of written language. Based on the research results, it was concluded the following. First, the type of illocutionary speech acts used the main character in the comic discourse Seniors Three Roads to the work of Benny Rachmadi Singapore found 28 utterances. Representative speech acts found 13 utterances, 11 utterances directive, and the declaration of 4 utterances. Second, the function of illocutionary speech acts used the main character in the comic discourse Seniors Three Roads to Singapore by Benny Rachmadi found 12 utterances. Competitive speech act functions found 3 tuturanmenyenangkan 3 utterances, working 3 utterances, and found 3 contradicts speech. Third, the type of illocutionary speech acts used the dominant discourse of the main character in the comic Three Seniors Streets to Singapore by Benny Rachmadi is representative speech act, illocutionary speech acts and functions of the dominant discourse used the main character in the comic Three Seniors Streets to Singapore by Benny Rachmadi is no dominant speech acts.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the fact in the field that the writing ability of students in grade II SD Negeri 18 Air Tawar Selatan is still low. This condition results in low student learning outcomes in Indonesian subjects under the KKM that has been set, namely 70. This study aims to improve writing skills using the STAD Type Cooperative learning model for class II State Elementary School 18 Air Tawar Selatan. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR), where the teacher is the implementer of learning while the researcher is the observer. The design of this study uses the Kemmis and Mc. This research was conducted in the even semester of the 2018/2019 academic year, namely in September. The subjects of this study were second grade students of SDN 18 Air Tawar Selatan, which consisted of 30 students. The object of research is student learning activity. Data collection techniques using observation and interviews. Data were analyzed descriptively and presented in the form of tables and graphs. Based on the improvement of learning that has been carried out from Pre-Cycle learning, Cycle I and Cycle II, it is seen that there is an increase in student learning outcomes, namely from the Pre-Cycle Average score of 58.7,3 with a percentage of completeness 29.41% while in the first cycle the average value an average of 70.29 with the percentage of completeness increased to 70.5%, and increased again in the second cycle to 100% with an average value of 80.29. The use of the STAD Type Cooperative learning model in learning Indonesian in class II SD Negeri 18 Air Tawar Selatan can improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perkembangan bahasa melalui kegiatan pengenalan kartu huruf di TK Samudera Padang. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media kartu huruf yang digunakan guru belum sepenuhnya memenuhi syarat dalam pemilihan media pembelajaran bahasa. Pelaksanaan pembelajaran bahasa pengenalan huruf anak terlihat aktif belajar mengenal huruf, media kartu huruf memberikan kemudahan bagi anak untuk mengenal bentuk dan bunyi huruf. Tingkat keberhasilan pembelajaran pengenalan huruf abjad dengan media kartu huruf pada anak kelompok B1 di Samudera Padang. Jika disajikan 73,4% anak mengenal huruf alfabet dan 28,4% anak mengenal huruf alfabet. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dipaparkan, peneliti menyampaikan beberapa saran yaitu dalam mengembangkan bahasa anak usia dini melalui penerapan media kartu huruf sebaiknya guru lebih banyak melibatkan anak dalam kegiatan tanya jawab, serta membawa anak ke tempat atau benda tertentu yang dapat menambah pengetahuan dan wawasan anak, peningkatan perkembangan bahasa anak melalui penerapan media kartu huruf hendaknya disesuaikan dengan tingkat perkembangan anak dan dilakukan secara terpadu.

Abstract

The research was conducted to analyze first, students comprehension in listening to the short story. Second, Students Comprehension in writing the short story by the eleventh grade of MAN Lubuk Alung. Third, to relate the comprehension of listening and writing by the eleventh grade of MAN Lubuk Alung. The theory of this research were the competency in listening, writing and analyzing the short story. The type of this research was quantitative research with analitycal descriptive method and used a correlational research schema . The population and sample of this research was the eleventh grades of MAN Lubuk Alung. The sample of this research is 30 students. The data collected by objective test and writing test. The objective test used to collect the data about the comprehension of listening a short story. Writing test used to collect the data about comprehension of writing short story. From this research, it can be concluded that first, the comprehension of writing short story by eleventh grade of MAN Lubuk Alung was Significant (87,96), second the comprehension of listening short story by eleventh grade of MAN Lubuk Alung was very good. Third, the relation between listening and writing skill was significant by freedom degree n-1 (30-1+29) and p=0,95. It means, comprehension h0 ignored and h1 accepted, by the result of tcalculate bigger than ttable 7,18>7,10.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe. First, news writing skills of students before the applied methodcooperative type think talk write. Second, news writing skills of students after the methodcooperative type think talk write.Third, the difference between news writing skills students before and after the applied method cooperative type think talk write. This research is quantitative experimental method. The data in this study is the result of news writing skills score of eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 3 Pariaman. The sample in this study - the eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 3 Pariaman were 30. The results of this study are:first,  news writing skills of students before the applied methodcooperative type think talk write with an average value of 62.66 with sufficient qualifications. Second, news writing skills of students after the applied methodcooperative type think talk write with an average value of 80.76 with good qualifications. Third, there is a difference between news writing skills of students before and after the applied methodcooperativetypethink talk write at the 0.05 significance level with n - 2 degrees of freedom. Thus,in this study rejected H_0 , H_1 acceptable because the test results prove that Tcount > Ttabel is greater than 8,4> 2,04 at P 0.05. Keywords: Influence, Method Cooperative Type Think Talk Write, News.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas pandangan retorika terhadap bahasa. Aspek kebahasan yang dibahas dalam penelitian ini adalah kosakata baku dan tidak baku. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan penggunaan kosakata baku dan tidak baku dalam pidato ketua umum partai nasdem Surta Paloh. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif deksriptif. Data dalam penelitian ini berupa tuturan dalam pidato Surya Paloh yang secara rinci meliputi kosakata bakun dan tidak baku. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah tuturan lisan pidato Surya Paloh. Penelitian ini mengandalkan peneliti sebagai instrumen utamanya. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Surya Paloh lebih banyak menggunakan kosaka baku dibandingkan kosakata tidak baku. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa Surya paloh sangat memperhatikan pemakaian bahasa dalam pidato yang disampaikan, walaupun pidato yang disampaikan terkesan cepat dan menggebu-gebu tetapi Surya Paloh sangat memperhatikan sekali bagaimana penyampain formalitas pidato resmi.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the psychology of the main character in the novel Primadona by Achmad Munif. The research problem is focused on the form of behavior displayed by the main character, the motives of the main behavior, and the relationship with the main character's personality. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. The research was conducted by analyzing the content of the novel seen from the behavior displayed by the main character. Data collection was done by observing the behavior of the main character and the motives behind it and associated with psychological aspects. This research prioritizes the study of the psychology of the main character from the behavior of the character and the motives behind it. The results of this study indicate that the behavior displayed by the main character is caused by several motives, namely; (1) being aware of the family situation, (2) not wanting to be selfish, (3) maintaining honor and chastity, (4) changing life for the better. The motives of the main character's behavior are based on psychological aspects such as ego and superego. These two aspects of psychology are the most basic factors and greatly affect the behavior or psychological activities of the main
