<![CDATA[Picture story books are very interesting reading materials for elementary school students. Picture story books not only display story texts, but are also combined with imaginative pictures, contain moral messages and use easy-to-understand language. Through picture story books, students are not only motivated to read, but also improve their reading literacy. Reading literacy is not just an activity of spelling letters one by one and getting information from the text being read. Reading literacy trains students to think critically and creatively by understanding, interpreting, and analyzing the contents of the text. The method used in this study is the literature study method using a qualitative approach. The data reviewed were research articles in the last 5 years. The results of the study showed that picture story books can improve students' reading literacy in elementary schools.]]>
