Abstract

Diabetic ulcer is a diabetes mellitus (DM) complication, where its growth is affected by many factors such as neuropathy and vasculopathy. The aim of this study was to identify the incidence number of neuropathy and vasculopathy on diabetic ulcer patients at RSUD Ulin Banjarmasin and RSUD Dr. H. M. Ansari Saleh Banjarmasin from June to August 2014. This is an observational descriptive study with cross sectional approach. A total of 100 diabetic ulcer patient samples were chosen using purposive sampling method. Neuropathy was assessed using Michigan neuropathy screening instrument (MNSI) and vasculopathy was assessed using Ankle Brachial Index (ABI). The results showed that from 100 samples, 100 (100%) persons were neuropathic, while 31 (31%) of them were vasculopathic hence they suffered from both neuropathy and vasculopathy, a condition commonly known as neuroischemia. Keywords: diabetic ulcer, neuropathy, vasculopathy

Abstract

Abstrak. Kegiatan ini merupakan desiminasi hasil penelitian. Penelitian mengungkap bahwa pembelajaran bahasa Jawa di SMA kurang didukung oleh kesiapan yang baik. Pengajar bahasa Jawa mayoritas dari bidang studi lain. Kurikulum muatan lokal kurang dipahami secara konseptual. Kompetensi komunikatif siswa rendah. Penelitian merekomendasikan perlunya pengembangan pembelajaran muatan lokal bahasa Jawa mampu menyentuh kebutuhan sosial budaya yang relevan dengan konteks lingkungan siswa. Untuk itu guru perlu dilatih mengembangkan model pembelajarannya. Metode yang digunakan adalah pedagogi partisipasi kolaboratif dengan menekankan latihan dan partisipasi aktif peserta. Akhir kegiatan, guru dapat menyusun materi dan rancangan pembelajaran sesuai dengan kebutuhan komunikatif dan sosial budaya siswa. Kata kunci:pembelajaran, sosial budaya

Abstract

In this digital era, technological developments are developing rapidly and all sectors, including education, must also follow developments in this digital era. Currently, education in Indonesia applies the Merdeka curriculum, in this curriculum the content of science and social studies learning is combined into one to become science learning content, the content of science learning in elementary schools is one of the most important lessons. The science and science learning content encourages students to be more active and have critical reasoning. However, in the field, researchers found problems related to the learning media used by teachers, which had an impact on low student learning outcomes. This research was conducted at SDN Ngadem because researchers found problems in learning science and science in class IV which caused students' grades in that class to be relatively low. This research uses a quantitative approach with an experimental type design. Specifically, using a pre-test and post-test design with one group. The sampling method used was purposive sampling. The aim of this research is to measure the effectiveness of using interactive multimedia based on Google Sites in science learning. The research results, which can be seen in Table 2, show that the post-test score (89.14) is higher than the pre-test score (66.72). The N-gain score obtained shows that the increase in student learning achievement is in the medium category, with an N-gain value of 67. The conclusion of this research is that interactive multimedia based on Google Sites has a positive influence on student learning outcomes in class IV of SDN Ngadem, and thus , it can be said that the use of interactive multimedia is effective in improving student learning outcomes.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to explain the process of student’s learning in critical thinking skill using sciensce e-books assisted by project-based learning models in grade V of elementary school, describing critical thinking skills using science e-books on human digestive system material. The type of research used in this study is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews and documentation. This research was conducted in grade V of elementary school. The subjects of this study were grade V elementary school students. The data analysis technique used in this study used descriptive analysis techniques. The results of this study indicate that the learning process of human digestive system material using science e-books media can train critical thinking skills of elementary school students. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di kelas V Sekolah Dasar. Subyek penelitian ini adalah siswa sekolah dasar kelas V. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif. Hasil dari penelitian ini, menunjukkan bahwa proses pembelajaran materi sistem pencernaan manusia dengan menggunakan media e-book IPA dapat melatih keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa Sekolah Dasar. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan: (1) untuk menghasilkan media video pembelajaran interaktif IPAS pada materi harmoni dalam ekosistem yang layak untuk siswa kelas V SD, dan (2) untuk mengetahui kelayakan media pembelajaran interaktif IPAS dalam peningkatan pemhaman siswa pada materi harmoni dalam ekosistem. Penelitian pengembangan ini mengacu pada Langkah yang dikembangkan oleh Alessi & Trollip. Desain pengembangan dikelompokkan menjadi tiga tahapan prosedur pengembangan, yaitu meliputi: (a) perencanaan, (b) desain, dan (c) pengembangan. Untuk uji validitas media video pembelajaran interaktif (uji alpha) dilakukan oleh 2 orang ahli materi dan 2 orang ahli media. Subjek uji beta (uji coba skala kecil) yaitu 6 siswakelas V SDN Ungkea. Subjek validasi program adalah 16 siswa kelas V SDN Ungkea. Instrument pengumpulan data untuk mengetahui keefektifan penggunaan multimedia dilaksanakan pembelajaran menggunakan multimedia hasil pengembangan dan tes hasil belajar (pretest dan posttest). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan hasil sebagai berikut: (1) ahli materi menilai aspek pembelajaran dan aspek materi dengan kategori layak (skala 4,15), ahli media menilai aspek media dengan kategori layak (skala 4,2), dan siswa (pengguna) menilai aspek pembelajaran, aspek materi, dan aspek media dengan kategori sangat layak (skala 4,5), sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa produk multimedia pembelajaran interaktif ini dinilai llayak digunakan siswa SD kelas V. (2) hasil uji coba lapangan (hasil pretest dan posttes) menunjukkan bahwa video pembelajaran interaktif IPAS ini dapat meningkatkan pemahaman siswa pada materi harmoni dalam ekosistem. Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of Addition Puzzle media based on Problem-Based Learning (PBL) in enhancing the addition operation skills of fourth-grade students at SDN Pesantren, Mijen, Semarang. The research employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) method conducted over two cycles from July to August 2024. Each cycle included planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection. The study's results showed that the application of Addition Puzzle media based on PBL significantly improved students' addition skills and engagement. In the second cycle, the students' learning mastery reached 79.67%, exceeding the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM). Thus, PBL-based Addition Puzzle media effectively enhances addition operation skills among fourth-grade students.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Wordwall learning media on students' learning interest. This study uses a qualitative descriptive research method with a literature study approach. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The research participants were fifth grade students of SDN 101770 Tembung. The results of the study indicate that the use of Wordwall learning media has a positive effect on increasing students' learning interest, which is characterized by increased enthusiasm, attention, active involvement, and enjoyment of students in learning, increased understanding of concepts, ability to remember material, and achievement of better evaluation scores. The basic factors that affect children's low learning interest are boring teaching techniques, wordwalls can be used to assess knowledge. Fun and varied media will make students more motivated in following the learning process. This study contributes to the development of digital technology-based learning strategies at the elementary school level and provides practical implications for educators in optimizing the learning process.

Abstract

Picture story books are very interesting reading materials for elementary school students. Picture story books not only display story texts, but are also combined with imaginative pictures, contain moral messages and use easy-to-understand language. Through picture story books, students are not only motivated to read, but also improve their reading literacy. Reading literacy is not just an activity of spelling letters one by one and getting information from the text being read. Reading literacy trains students to think critically and creatively by understanding, interpreting, and analyzing the contents of the text. The method used in this study is the literature study method using a qualitative approach. The data reviewed were research articles in the last 5 years. The results of the study showed that picture story books can improve students' reading literacy in elementary schools.

Abstract

Indonesian language learning in grade 5 at SD Negeri Songgom 01, especially thematerial on patterned sentences, often faces obstacles in improving studentsunderstanding of the correct sentence structure. One of the causes is thatstudents have difficulty when reading patterned sentences and identifying them.Innovative learning media in the form of stacked cards by applying the PBLlearning model is needed to overcome these problems. The subjects of this studywere fifth grade students of SDN Songgom 01, totaling 20 students. This studyaims to determine the effect of using Stacked Card learning media in improvingthe ability to read patterned sentences. This research uses mixed methods withparallel convergent design by collecting quantitative and qualitative datasimultaneously and analyzed separately. The results of quantitative analysisshowed an increase in students ability to read patterned sentences when usinglearning media. The qualitative analysis results show that the application ofStacking Card media through PBL mode learning is able to increase studentsdemand to read patterned sentences so that students actively participate and areable to master the structure of sentence patterns. The social benefit of this mediaapplication is to improve students' communication and social skills, because theylearn to work together in groups to complete tasks in the form of sentences.

Abstract

This study aims to develop interactive digital media based on the local wisdom of the Jaran Eblek dance as an innovative learning tool to improve the critical thinking skills of elementary school students, especially in the material of the human movement system. The background of this study is based on the importance of integrating local culture in science learning so that students not only gain a cognitive understanding of concepts, but also internalize the values ​​of local wisdom. The development model used is ADDIE, which includes five stages, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The research subjects consisted of 5 media experts, 5 material experts, 15 teachers, and 85 sixth grade elementary school students who became the trial group. The research instruments were in the form of validation sheets, practicality questionnaires, and critical thinking skills tests designed according to learning indicators. The validation process carried out by media experts resulted in an average score of 4.74 with a very feasible category, while the assessment from material experts obtained a score of 4.47 with a very feasible category. The practicality test involving teachers and students showed that the interactive digital media was included in the very practical category with a score of 92.29%. Meanwhile, the effectiveness test using N-Gain analysis showed that the experimental class using the media obtained a score of 76.94% with an effective category, while the control class only achieved 33.13%. The results of further statistical tests proved a significant difference (p < 0.05) between the two classes, which indicates that this interactive digital media is able to have a positive impact on improving students' critical thinking skills. Thus, this study concludes that interactive digital media based on local wisdom of the Jaran Eblek dance is feasible, practical, and effective for use in learning.
