Karangharjo hamlet is situated in the Silo District, under the Jember Regency of the East Java Province. Its position on the steep slopes creates a favorable environment for cultivating agricultural and plantation products. The village's remarkable diversity and cultural assimilation offer a highly promising opportunity for the development of a rural tourism destination. Meanwhile, a number of tourism services have been launched, encompassing nature education and outbound excursions. Recognizing the immense potential, a collaboration was formed to promote agro-educational tourism in Karangharjo Village. Through the consensus reached with partners, three primary concerns have been recognized as the focal points for tourist empowerment in 2024. These concerns include the insufficient implementation of effective planning and development strategies for tourism. The insufficient proficiency in tourist management among BUMDesa members, coupled with the still substandard quality of tourism services provided. A potential resolution to the issue lies in the advancement of educational tourism within the framework of Sustainable Tourism. This entails the formulation of a comprehensive plan, enhancing the soft skills of village-owned enterprises (BUMDesa), and elevating the standard of agro-educational tourist services. The underlying concepts of the approach encompass endeavors to conserve and enhance the environment, empower local communities, and guarantee equitable economic advantages for all stakeholders. Through the analysis of assessment data from the previous 3 months, we have collected diverse insights on tourism management and tourism management systems. Additionally, we have initiated collaboration with potential clients, including primary schools and similar institutions in Jember Regency.
