<![CDATA[This research aims to obtain an overview of the use of audio-visual media to make it easier for students to understand Arabic language material at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 2 Surakarta. This research uses this type of researchmixed methods. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, documentation and tests.The results of data analysis from this research show that T count 2.411 and Ttable 2.040 which means that T calculated is greater than Ttable (2.411>2.040) which means that The use of audio-visual media in learning Arabic can improve students' understanding. The results of this analysis can also be seen from the student test results which show that average value of Arabic learning results (posttest) out of 28 students was 85,625 and 27 students achieved learning completeness with a percentage of 86% in the good category. From this percentage, it can be said that classically more than 75% of students achieved a complete score. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that in this research the use of audio-visual media as an effective means can improve students' understanding.]]>
