<![CDATA[This study focuses on the fear of success experienced by female teachers at SDIT Bayyinah Tahfizul Qur’an in Banda Aceh. The issue investigated in this research revolves around the high levels of anxiety and lack of self-confidence among female teachers regarding opportunities for career advancement to higher positions. The research methodology utilized a qualitative approach with a case study design. The population for this study consisted of 17 female teachers at SDIT Bayyinah Tahfizul Qur’an. The sample selection employed purposive sampling techniques, resulting in four participants meeting the predetermined criteria as research subjects. The findings indicate that factors such as role conflict, family demands—especially from mothers-in-law and social conflicts with colleagues play a significantly influential role in instigating "fear of success" among female teachers. They tend to avoid higher success opportunities due to concerns about balancing work responsibilities and household duties. Additionally, societal stigmas, particularly those perpetuated by close family members regarding the traditional role of women as homemakers, contribute to women's apprehensions about accepting higher-level positions. The coping strategy employed by participants in confronting these fears is a problem-focused coping, involving the identification of obstacles and the determination of concrete steps to address these challenges. Despite this, their ultimate decision is to reject career advancement opportunities. Thus, this study not only successfully identifies factors influencing fear of success among female teachers but also offers strategic insights to address the psychological and social challenges faced by these educators in achieving a balance between their professional careers and personal lives.]]>
