Abstract

Masalah gizi buruk dan stunting masih menjadi tantangan kesehatan di Indonesia, termasuk di Kabupaten Pandeglang, Provinsi Banten. Rendahnya pengetahuan masyarakat tentang gizi, keterbatasan akses layanan kesehatan, serta masih digunakannya sistem manual pada Posyandu menjadi kendala dalam deteksi dini status gizi balita. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberdayakan kader posyandu dan ibu balita melalui edukasi gizi, pemanfaatan pangan lokal, pengembangan aplikasi berbasis Android untuk monitoring status gizi, serta pelatihan memasak bergizi dan kewirausahaan. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi persiapan, sosialisasi, edukasi, uji coba aplikasi, pelatihan memasak, dan evaluasi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada pengetahuan kader posyandu (nilai rata-rata pre-test 56,2 meningkat menjadi 86,4 pada post-test), keterampilan pengukuran status gizi sesuai standar WHO, serta kemampuan penggunaan aplikasi Android (85% kader mampu mengoperasikan secara mandiri). Pelatihan memasak berbasis pangan lokal berhasil meningkatkan keterampilan ibu balita dalam mengolah makanan bergizi dan mendorong kader untuk mengembangkan usaha kuliner sehat. Kegiatan ini terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan kapasitas kader posyandu dan ibu balita, mempercepat deteksi dini gizi buruk, serta membuka peluang pemberdayaan ekonomi berbasis pangan lokal. Malnutrition and stunting remain health challenges in Indonesia, including in Pandeglang District, Banten Province. Low public knowledge about nutrition, limited access to health services, and the continued use of manual systems at Posyandu (integrated health service posts) are obstacles to early detection of toddler nutritional status. This community service activity aimed to empower Posyandu cadres and mothers of toddlers through nutrition education, utilization of local foods, development of an Android-based application for monitoring nutritional status, as well as training in nutritious cooking and entrepreneurship. The implementation methods included preparation, socialization, education, application testing, cooking training, and evaluation. The results of the activity showed a significant increase in the knowledge of Posyandu cadres (the average pre-test score of 56.2 increased to 86.4 in the post-test), skills in measuring nutritional status according to WHO standards, and the ability to use the Android application (85% of cadres were able to operate it independently). The local food-based cooking training successfully improved the skills of mothers of young children in preparing nutritious meals and encouraged cadres to develop healthy culinary businesses. This activity proved effective in increasing the capacity of posyandu cadres and mothers of young children, accelerating the early detection of malnutrition, and opening up opportunities for local food-based economic empowerment.
