This research was motivated by students who lacked a clear goal orientation in choosing an economics education study program at STKIP Persada Khatulistiwa Sintang. This research aims to determine interest in becoming a teacher and job prospects regarding students' decisions in choosing an economics education study program at STKIP Persada Khatulistiwa Sintang. The method used in this research is quantitative and the form of this research is multiple linear regression research. The population in this study was 82 students of the STKIP Persada Khatulistiwa Sintang economic education study program with a sample size of 82 students. The sampling technique is saturated sampling technique. Data processing in research uses SPSS 26 with data processing techniques using validity tests, linearity tests, classical assumption tests, contribution tests, and hypothesis tests. The research results show that there is no partial influence of interest in becoming a teacher on students' decisions to choose the economics education study program at STKIP Persada Khatulistiwa Sintang. Furthermore, there is a partial influence of job prospects on students' decisions to choose the economics education study program at STKIP Persada Khatulistiwa Sintang. There is a simultaneous influence of interest in becoming a teacher and job prospects on students' decisions to choose the economics education study program at STKIP Persada Khatulistiwa Sintang
