The purpose of this study was to determine how TPACK and self-efficacy affect the readiness of students in the 2020 economic education study program. Data from pre-research conducted by researchers on several students at the State University of Malang obtained results that only 40% were ready to become teachers. And for the State University of Surabaya, only 30% were ready to become teachers, so it is still relatively low regarding the readiness to become teachers for students in the 2020 economic education study program. This study uses a quantitative method, with a sample size of 132. The research sample was taken using a simple random sampling technique. Data analysis uses Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (SEM-PLS) through SmartPLS software. The results of the study directly show that Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) has a significant and positive effect on the readiness to become teachers of students in the 2020 economic education study program, with the largest contributor being Pedagogical Knowledge at 84%. And also self-efficacy has a positive and significant effect on the readiness to become teachers of students in the 2020 economic education study program.
