This research aims to identify the factors that affect the achievement of students from North Sumatra in the Economics Education study program at FKIP University of Palangka Raya. This study uses a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach to identify and analyze factors that affect the academic and non-academic achievement of students from North Sumatra in the FKIP Economics Education study program, University of Palangka Raya. The results of the study showed that factors such as participation in student organizations, awards for academic and non-academic achievements, participation in competitions, community service activities, the role as a leader, experience in research and publication of scientific papers contributes significantly to the achievement of student achievement. Students have a strong desire and desire to achieve achievements, even though they face various obstacles. Advice is given to students to take advantage of available resources, take an active role in campus activities, maintain health, seek support, and set long-term goals. The implications of this research are the importance of support and facilities for students in optimizing their potential to achieve achievements in higher education.
