This study aims to describe the implementation of the Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) Cooperative Learning model in improving students' critical thinking competencies in Fiqh subjects at MTs Manbaul 'Ulum Karangpatri Pebayuran Bekasi. The research method used is a qualitative approach with a descriptive research type. The research subjects included Fiqh teachers and eighth grade students. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman interactive analysis model which includes data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the implementation of the STAD model was able to create an active, collaborative, and enjoyable learning atmosphere. Students were trained to actively participate in group discussions, solve problems, and help each other understand Fiqh concepts. The teacher acted as an adaptive and communicative facilitator in directing learning activities. As a result, students showed an increase in critical thinking skills, especially in the aspects of analyzing arguments, providing logical reasons for Fiqh laws, and making decisions based on rational arguments. Thus, the application of the STAD type Cooperative Learning model has proven effective in improving students' critical thinking competencies in the Fiqh subject at MTs Manbaul 'Ulum Karangpatri Pebayuran Bekasi and can be used as an alternative innovative learning model in madrasas. bstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi model Cooperative Learning tipe Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) dalam meningkatkan kompetensi berpikir kritis siswa pada mata pelajaran Fiqih di MTs Manbaul ‘Ulum Karangpatri Pebayuran Bekasi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Subjek penelitian meliputi guru Fiqih dan siswa kelas VIII. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan model analisis interaktif Miles dan Huberman yang meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi model STAD mampu menciptakan suasana pembelajaran yang aktif, kolaboratif, dan menyenangkan. Siswa dilatih untuk berpartisipasi aktif dalam diskusi kelompok, memecahkan masalah, serta saling membantu memahami konsep-konsep Fiqih. Guru berperan sebagai fasilitator yang adaptif dan komunikatif dalam mengarahkan kegiatan belajar. Dampaknya, siswa menunjukkan peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis, terutama dalam aspek menganalisis dalil, memberikan alasan logis terhadap hukum Fiqih, dan mengambil keputusan berdasarkan argumentasi rasional. Dengan demikian, penerapan model Cooperative Learning tipe STAD terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan kompetensi berpikir kritis siswa pada mata pelajaran Fiqih di MTs Manbaul ‘Ulum Karangpatri Pebayuran Bekasi serta dapat dijadikan alternatif model pembelajaran inovatif di madrasah
