<![CDATA[Background: Human Resources for Health (HRH) is a vital subsystem within the National Health System, playing a crucial role in supporting the quality of healthcare services. However, its management in health facilities still faces numerous challenges. Aims: This study aims to examine the challenges and efforts to strengthen HRH in healthcare facilities. Method: A literature review was conducted by searching relevant articles through Google Scholar. Result: The HRH management system remains suboptimal, with key findings including uneven distribution of health workers, inappropriate placement based on expertise, low participation in education and training, and limited funding and infrastructure support. Conclusion: Strategic efforts are needed to strengthen HRH through needs-based planning, competence development via education and training, and equitable distribution of health personnel.]]>
